The price wasn't bad either, very reasonable and Tim did a great job. It's also very important to support other military (retired or active) that are there supporting us and other military families.

What I do know is that we had our carpets cleaned and sanitized in preparation for it. The water that was extracted during the cleaning was BLACK apparently. SO GROSS. I had no idea it had gotten so bad. The last time we had our carpets cleaned was 2012 after we moved in. I would absolutely recommend these guys: http://envirocarecleaningsolutions.com/ They are on Facebook also, but so are others with the same name. The Oak Harbor number (360-678-9810) is the one we used, I don't know if the technicians vary from location to location or not. I am SO glad we got them cleaned and have a HUGE sense of relief now that they are. They even got out stains that Chem-Dry had told us were permanent stains when they cleaned our carpets in 2012. They also apparently left behind a lot of cleaner residue, which as time progressed just continued to attract more and more dirt and left weird stains that looked like you'd spilled liquid chocolate or something in various places. The man that came (I don't know his name and my husband didn't catch it either but I think it must have been Donald) got right down to work and just powered on through until he was done. If you're in this area, I'd totally recommend them. It was $89.95 for up to 400 square feet thorough carpet cleaning and stain removal plus carpet sanitizing. That's on par with other places like Chem-Dry - but our family will be using Envirocare Cleaning Sulutions from now on.

It was not a small task; we have a two-story home and he was asked to clean rooms on both levels. Every carpet they touched came out looking fabulous! I was so happy. Caleb purchased the company shortly after and has continued to bring the highest quality of work performance. I've been a landlord for over 45 years, so I have worked with other companies over the years. I'm so confident in Caleb's high standard that I specify in my commercial and residential leases that upon moving out, the tenant must have the carpets cleaned by A Clean Carpet Company. Additionally, I utilize his services, which extends beyond cleaning carpets in my personal home, too. Caleb has responded to a few water flood emergencies. Once in my personal home, and the most recent when a pressurized fire suppressant pipe burst on the top floor of a 3-story building. I contacted him on Sunday in January that it was spewing out 30 to 100 gallons of water per minute for 30 minutes. He responded immediately and extracted hundreds of gallons of water from the building. What a blessing to help minimize the destructive power of water. His office manager, Judy, for the past 21 years, has been a great delight to work with because of her professionalism and cheerful demeanor. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would wholeheartedly do so.

Dan was extremely patient with me explaining the price breakdown, and what I could get for the minimum charge; it really felt like he was trying to make sure I got he maximum amount of treatment for the money I was spending. After hashing out the details, Cayden came out to do the carpet cleaning and pet treatment. He was hands down the most polite, kind service provider I have ever had in my home. My dog even bothered him when my kids let him back in the house while my back was turned and he didn't mind one bit, he was just friendly and nice to my pup. He really listened to me when I explained what was getting treated and what I wanted. Once the job was done, he cleaned up and gave my husband clear instructions for the drying period, and was off! After a few days I noticed the pet smell was still pretty strong, so I reached out to Dan again. He told me it can take a few treatments depending on how heavily the carpet was soiled, and he wound up setting me up with two more appointments for the pet treatment - at no additional cost! It's fantastic, I really feel like Island ChemDry has taken care of us and our carpet. But, let me just preface my…read morecomments with the fact that I was grumpy with them for the past six months because everything took longer and cost much more than I expected. However, this was the first time I had dealt with such a situation (bathroom flooded and seeped to the rest of the condo and the floors needed to be redone). I didn't realize there were three different areas of work that needed to be done: mitigation and cleaning, deconstruction, and reconstruction. I thought "mitigation and cleaning" was the sum total of what needed to be done and inclusive of everything. I had no understanding that there were three phases. It could be that someone in the company tried to explain it to me, I don't know. I was dealing with too much at the time (health concerns, a mother with health concerns, moving, etc.) and nothing was going right and it made me really grumpy thinking about how much money was going toward this project and how long it was taking. However, the Cleaner Guys continued to be professional and polite throughout the experience. Once they were done with the flooring and repairs I was very, very happy. They did a fantastic job not only with the flooring, but also with repairs, repainting, replacing, etc., and the condo almost feels like a brand new home. I am very happy with the work that they did. Just remember that it will cost more and take longer than you expect it to. It's not going to be a sprint. It's going to be a marathon.
