While it is true that $80 an hour for two guys seems a little pricey, they were well worth it and I would have paid more. I booked them for 3 hours figuring with the amount of stuff I had it would take at least that long with me starting to load the truck with three other people before they even arrived. After they did get there I stepped out of the way, they finished loading my truck followed me to my new house and had the entire thing unloaded for a total time of just under two hours. This was the best money I have spent in a long time as moving sucks but with these guys I didn't really have to do too much. I thank you Mike and Denny for a job well done

We had a very small furniture move - a dining table, 6 chairs and sideboard - to be moved from…read moreBinghamton, NY to Riverdale, NY. We agreed to the outrageous moving fee since we were on a tight time frame, and paid an additional amount to have the move insured. On the day of the move, the movers attempted to detach the legs from the table, but were not able to remove all four. They supposedly 'reattached' them and loaded the table top-side-down in the truck. Fine. I had to stay in Binghamton with my mother who was ill at the time, so my husband drove back to our apartment for the load-in. Admittedly, he (my husband) should have checked the table a bit better when it arrived. It was not scratched or broken, but it was not reassembled properly by the moving team and is leaning and 'sways' with even the slightest touch. I realized this as soon as I arrived home two days later and we attempted to call the moving company. This was an expensive, hand-crafted, solid oak table and has never swayed in its life. Over the past three weeks, we have attempted to contact the movers several times for them to arrange for the table to be repaired - honestly all it needs is for the screw sites to be filled and redrilled properly. And we paid for the insurance to cover this type of repair! We have been understanding that these things can happen - hence getting insurance - but it is absolutely impossible to reach Crew4 once they have your money. They answered the phone once in these three weeks, heard our concerns and request for repair, but have not followed up with us after several more attempts to contact them. I have waited nearly a month for them to do the right thing resolve this issue, but it is to no avail. I don't enjoy leaving 1-star reviews, but I am hoping this will help others to avoid using such an unprofessional company.

It gets really pricey to order samples because you pay a high shipping charge so I'd recommend starting your selection early, ordering you top 2-3 and hope you like one. The challenge I had with them was their customer service. Since it is made to order, you don't get a good sense of when it will arrive. I've had to reach out to customer service a few times. Sometimes they didn't respond until the second or third attempt, other times they say it will ship, but you don't receive a confirmation. When you are remodeling a home and this is just one of the 200 items you are ordering, it's difficult to plan. It's also difficult to schedule the contractors without good communication.

They did not have enough undamaged product to fill my order. The delay for them to restock, reinspect and make an addition addition to my order took about a month. Precious time my project did not have. All along the way their communication so poor. I had to call several times to get information, the service rep has to wait for the owner to reply to most questions, the service rep said I wasn't getting her emails because she mailed them to herself. They did not provide any tracking information on their invoice. Their phone does not take messages, so, no call backs. Often times they don't pick up the phone. Basically, I'd advise you to go elsewhere! The only reason I don't rate them lower is that i was able to prevent them from sending me a whole lot of damaged merchandise. But on the other hand, now it's the holidays and my contractor is out of time to install it

It was to be a 2 month construction project (optimistic). After 9 months we hired another…read morecontractor to finish the project, make repairs and fix multiple water leaks. Window leak: I was told it was probably condensation. Nope. I had to investigate, test and determine the leak was a faulty window sash. It was replaced per warranty without help from the original contractor. Front door leak: After spending 30 minutes arguing about the leak and the wrong door, he agreed to reinstall the door. It still leaked. The new contractor identified the missing brickmold between the door frame and wall sheathing that would provide a rain tight seal. Back door leak: The new contractor removed the door and siding. We found jagged and exposed sheathing, no flashing tape around the door frame, missing Zip tape on sheathing, exposed joints in metal siding, and no header flashing above the first floor siding. Major window leak: Water got past the trim, Zip tape, sheathing, foam insulation and was dripping from the drywall ceiling. None of the J-channel trim around the windows had rain tabs. The J-channel trim needed to be replaced on all the windows. When removing the vinyl shakes to make the repairs, we discovered the siding was installed with drywall screws. Those screws will rust and create rust stains. Screws will also prevent the expansion and contraction of siding with temperature change. The siding will buckle. All the vinyl siding was removed and correctly installed with aluminum roofing nails. New addition water leak: Portions of the siding on the second story were removed and larger flashing installed between the wall and roof. Potential gaps were caulked. Other issues: The interior tongue and groove pine was delivered and kept outside under a tarp over two months until my wife and I moved it inside the garage to allow the moisture and mildew to dry. I redid the drywall in a short hallway due to 1" gaps and missing 2x4 nailers. I added more screws and longer screws to the drywall ceiling over the stairs when I noticed the drywall was not holding in place. Exterior fascia and soffit repair due to winds and lack of secure fastening (contractor was informed in advance this would be required). This summary does not include all the issues, but you can gather a good idea how it went. I have plenty of pictures and documentation to support everything stated.
