So far, so great!! I am late to the Streets Market and Cafe…read moreparty, but I am present. I overheard colleagues discussing this place and had immediate FOMO!! I visited for the 1st time 2 weeks ago, and I have been at least 4-5 times already. I love how fresh the food is on the hot deli bar, and I am so thankful that it's behind protective glass for an employee to gather and present instead of it being in an open area, etc. Although the cashiers are normally less than excited to see any customer, they work fast, and efficient. It works for me. I will surely continue to support this market and recommend to friends and family.

I don't know why I haven't reviewed Potung sooner. I go here after work for groceries at least once…read morea week and have since I moved to Baltimore. I've gone to Streets down on Charles, Eddie's up on Eager, and Lexington Market. Potung is the BEST place to go if you want a thorough selection of fresh vegetables. You won't be able to get more specialty vegetables like fennel or dandelion greens (for those you'd have to go to Harris Teeter or the like), but MANY staple items like onions, potatoes, eggs, milk, bread, etc. etc. are all here. I do have to note that sometimes they don't have milk in stock, but I guess it depends on the day. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Potung gives a 10% student discount on a number of items. In terms of the area Potung is located, as true as it is elsewhere in Baltimore, be vigilant and you should be fine. A lot of the individuals you see hanging around nearby are people who live on that block, so I've never felt particularly sketched out. (Mentioning this because of another review.)

I was told I can wait another 10 minutes for thighs and legs. There were only 2 people at the counter was each were serving only either hot food or the deli. I did discover they were short staffed due to a call out. Service was slow. I did appreciate the lady that waited on me by changing her gloves but they should have tongs for the chicken. I was not to thrilled with how much she scooped the macaroni and cheese, she barely filled the container. The meal was close to 10 dollars. By the time I returned to my office which is down the street and sat down to eat I found the food to be luke warm. After taking a couple of bites, the macaroni and cheese reminded me of KFC's macaroni and cheese, not my fav. The chicken was ok and the wing was on the small side. I don't think I will return here for lunch.

We were here to pick up last minute goods for a graduation party. But let's talk about the little sandwiches and rolls they made in the catering department. Those things were delicious! They put them together to perfection, they were ready on time, and they were delicious! We had steak, chicken, and tuna salad little sandwiches on croissants. I'm definitely going to order from Wegmans again, especially those items. They were perfect! But back to the store itself. They will pretty much have everything you need. They have some of my favorite items like frozen jasmine rice in individual packets. You can get them in white or brown. They're both delicious. I also love the frozen vegetables. They have the best selection of frozen vegetables. Especially frozen spinach. Most grocery stores only give you the champ. Spinach, Wegmans will give you the whole leaf frozen spinach. I love that. And their quinoa cakes are divine. They're frozen vegetables and foods. Selection is top notch!

Maybe I'm a little biased, but I have yet to find a hoagie anywhere that is as satisfying whether I'm sober or drunk. No joke, one of the main reasons that I'm tempted to attend the annual JHU Alumni Weekend is the prospect of being able to go to to Uni Mini for some steak egg and cheese, and there are seriously some days that I fantasize about hopping on a plane to Baltimore just to get myself one.
