When I went, my total was 165.80 and somehow jumped to $186.50. I turned around and asked the employee how this is possible and she said they charge a 10% sales tax and a credit card charge. Mind you, there is no signs about their tax, or a credit card charge. Not to mention, because their register is incapable of scanning and processing charges, the employee asked if she could use my phone to calculate the total. The longer the store stayed open, the less helpful the employees became. Nowadays, if you go in there especially in the daytime, the people who seem to be the "shift leads" will tell you that they don't have any way to make custom fragrances, and that they're out of everything, and that they only have a handful of things premade, and they cannot make anything new. I went around Christmas time to try to get some body scrubs and some dish soap and laundry soap. I was told that I could only buy what was on the shelf already made, and that they would not be Custom fragrancing anything. I told my husband I was disappointed I couldn't get my favorite fragrances, so he went to the location in Roswell, which was more than happy to help him and I got a wonderful set of body scrubs and soaps for Christmas. He said the people in the Roswell location were very friendly and told him that in Canton they should be able to do the same thing and they could not understand why I had been turned away. I went again to the Canton location in January, hoping to find different personnel on a weekday and was again told that they did not have any fragrances to make anything customized. When I walk into the Canton location, I feel as though my presence is not welcomed. The associates in that store stay behind the fragrance bar and do other tasks while customers are shopping and it's hard to get their attention if you need anything. If you do get a question to them, they act bothered as if they wish you would just go away. I noticed another shopper the last time I was there and she was being ignored. She had questions, and the person behind the counter was dismissing her and acted as if she wished the lady would just leave. it was not like this at all when the store first opened and I remember being treated very nicely. I remember the wide variety of fragrances that could be made and I remember being able to choose whatever I wanted for my scrubs and laundry soaps. From now on, I'm going to have to shop in the Roswell location because the people in the Canton store are so unfriendly and can't be bothered to deal with customers. I used to work in retail, and in fact, I worked in a shop called Garden Botanika where we made custom fragrances for our clientele. It was one of the most enjoyable parts of my job, and I loved helping people and I never took the job for granted. I was happy to be employed and I was happy to be getting a paycheck and I was happy that customers were coming in getting excited about our products. I think there is a big difference with this generation today, because they seem to want to work for nothing, pick up a paycheck, and scroll on social media instead of helping customers. I think the Canton location really needs to take a hard look at who they have in management at that store and take a look at what the customer experience is on a typical basis. They probably need to send in secret shoppers to see what the experience is like.

This store is smaller than the other store that I have been but that is actually a good thing. The bigger the store the more stuff they have and it can be over whelming. I think this is a better location because it is in the same shopping center with the new Walmart here in Holly Springs. Its very neatly organized as with most Sally's and the sales people are always super helpful. I come here for a couple of things. The first is by Ions. It's their high gloss semi permanent clear hair cream. It's a clear high gloss that comes in a white toothpaste like tube and you put it in your hair like a shampoo. It will be you a salon finish shine in your hair for up to 10 shampoos. One tube is about $6.00 and will last me a month. I also use their semi permanent hair cream in burgundy brown. I mix it in my conditioner so that my hair doesn't turn green or dull especially in the summer. If you like to experiment with hair stuff then Sally's is a great place to shop and browse.
