I googled auto parts stores in the area and called the 1st one, they told me they were closing due to the weather and wouldn't wait a few minutes for me to get there. called the next one and I couldn't understand the fellow who answered the phone (he couldn't understand me either) and when I asked if I could speak with someone else I was put and left on hold... Then I called Tinker Auto Parts, they were great!! he looked to make sure he had the right part so I didn't waste my time, and then he promptly told me they had what I needed and told me how to get there from where I was. I wish I remembered the gentleman's name that helped me because he was so nice and deserves a high five! The store was busy, clearly it is a favorite auto parts store in the community. Although it was late and cold and snowy, they offered to help get the broken cap off for me. I actually had already gotten it out and had it in my pocket but I appreciated the offer! Long story, but I wanted this review to show how pleased I was with this business, and I highly recommend Tinker Auto Parts!! Thanks fellas!

I made a small mistake with my SUV and a telephone pole. Nothing crazy just a light smush on the left fender. I was backing out of a spot. But Eddie, Shawn and the team made it all disappear. The price was very fair and I'm still outside looking for something wrong which I can't find. What's most impressive, in regard to quality workmanship are two things. One, they clear coated the underside of the hood which most shops would not do. Second, the match on the metallic flake that's in their paint is a SPOT ON match for the factory paint! I'm telling you from quality of work to handling the car from start to finish, with the rental car ease, this shop is top notch.

After…read morewaiting there while the mechanic checked it they told us that the car needed 2 wheel bearings and the price to replace them would be $1,300 plus tax. We paid $200 for the diagnostic fee, and I had to fight to get that included in the cost of the work. If you know anything about cars you would know the likelihood of 2 wheel bearings going bad at the same time is slim to none. I had to voice concerns and speak to multiple different people over at Mazda about this. When I asked if they were to preform the work, and should the noise still be present then what? I was told I would still be charged for the work, but further diagnostics would be on the house...gee thanks. Not trusting their "expert guess" they called a diagnosis, I went ahead and ordered ONE wheel bearing and put it in myself. Takes about 30 minutes start to finish, and guess what, the noise was gone. Had I not asked questions or had my sister been by herself this dealership would have robbed her blind. That's not including the brake flush and BS fuel injector cleaner they tried to sell her which would have put the bill over $2,000!!!! This was all fixed by a part that cost less than $200. The service department here is a joke, do your homework and don't send your family there if they don't have a basic understanding about cars. I attached a photo of the Ridiculous price to change the bearings (one of which was good) and the BS emissions service they try and upsell you. All this for a $175 part.....
