Then I called Tinker Auto Parts, they were great!! he looked to make sure he had the right part so I didn't waste my time, and then he promptly told me they had what I needed and told me how to get there from where I was. I wish I remembered the gentleman's name that helped me because he was so nice and deserves a high five! The store was busy, clearly it is a favorite auto parts store in the community. Although it was late and cold and snowy, they offered to help get the broken cap off for me. I actually had already gotten it out and had it in my pocket but I appreciated the offer! So we went back to the place and waited for them to finish installing the coils. They are very unprofessional because they were working on my bf car and someone's else car at the same time. SMH. After we left the guy had the nerve to call my bf and tell him to give him 5 stars . He also forgot to give him the coil wrench that he payed for. Update he had to get the coils re installed because they did not install them the right way. The guy that fixed it for him said that one of the coils were lose as well and not out on correctly. WTF

I've had two engines built by Scott's shop: a 625 HP, 400 ci small block Chevy and an 875 HP, 615 ci tall deck big block Chevy. Both engines EXCEEDED my expectations for durability and power. And, both engines are still running strong to this day. Merkel's isn't the cheapest shop around but, good work ain't cheap and cheap work can't be good. Scott's work isn't good....it's GREAT!!!
