From our first conversation, she truly listened, sympathized, and assured me that there were solutions--and she was right. Within just a few weeks of working with her, I'm already feeling significantly better. Courtney is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and supportive. She took the time to understand what I was going through and created a plan that actually works for me. If you're struggling with hormone-related symptoms and feeling unheard by traditional providers, I highly recommend reaching out to Courtney. Empowered Wellness has been a game-changer for my health and well-being.

Care is led by Dr. Courtney Shihabuddin, nurse practitioner, DNP, APRN-CNP, who also serves as Associate Clinical Professor and Specialty Track Director for the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program at The Ohio State University College of Nursing. She treats hormone therapy, metabolic and weight changes, sleep, mood, and sexual health, along with menopause after breast cancer, which she approaches both as a clinician and as a survivor. We work on a membership model instead of rushed visits, so care includes real appointment time, lab monitoring, and ongoing access between visits. Membership includes comprehensive lab panels and support from a registered dietitian. We are a direct-pay practice and do not bill insurance. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and we provide superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Your initial care consultation is $199. In-person visits are available at our New Albany office, with telehealth for patients across Ohio, Oklahoma, Florida, New York, Colorado, and New Jersey.

He is extremely responsive via MyChart & his medical assistants are some of the best. Everyone in my family sees one of the practitioners in this office so it's great to have a doctor who can be insightful about medical conditions, possible connections, and overall life experiences. If you're looking for a doctor who listens to your concerns, values your opinion/concerns, and has years of knowledge under his belt: Dr. McClure is the best option for you and your family.

Dr. McClure has been my doctor for many years, and I really respect his medical knowledge. A…read morecouple of times I've gone to see him with an idea in mind of what was wrong with me, and he comes up with something completely different... and of course he's always right. His manner is very friendly and easy-going, and he makes you feel comfortable. I had no problems with his old location in Worthington. It was small but actually much more convenient for me (have you SEEN the traffic at Polaris?). However, the new location is clearly much nicer... roomy, modern and bright. Anyway, check this out: I called Mid-Ohio Internal Medicine yesterday (Monday) to make an appointment for some stomach issues and was told I couldn't be seen until Thursday. This was a problem for me, because I was going to temporarily lose my medical insurance starting Wednesday. I asked if there was anything at all they could do, and the secretary said I could come in at 10:15 a.m. today (Tuesday), but I might have to wait for a long time, as they were very overbooked. Well, I arrived at 10:15 a.m. and the waiting room was completely empty. I waited about 30 seconds before being called back, and the whole exam from arrival to departure took about 20 minutes. Amazing.
