The moment we walked in the office was clean, the staff was welcoming. My 3 year old was overwhelmed with joy to see a playroom. The playroom is kept extremely clean and is pirate themed. We just fell in love with Kim the dental assistant. She was calm, and loving toward my 3 year old son who is stubborn and and strong willed. She made us feel at home due to struggling with a big move and a new environment. I could not say enough about Dr. Coletti, this is definitely his joy, and passion. He was so wonderful towards my son. My son was nervous being in a new dental office. Dr. C has a great catchy song (which my son is still singing) and it was so helpful to calm him down. Dr. C's background is extensive, and impressive and makes me feel lucky to call him my child's dentist.

I asked before paying and was told it was "part of the treatment," which implied it was included--not something extra. When I called to discuss the charge, I got absolutely nowhere. I was told I "should have known" because of a piece of paper (treatment plan) handed to me months ago while I was managing three kids in the office. No one ever clearly communicated this would be a separate charge. I'm sure the response to this review will try to shift blame onto me--but I genuinely tried to work this out over the phone and was met with zero understanding or accountability. Just deflection. Sounds good. I'll be sure to let everyone I know hear about how dishonest and unhelpful this practice was. We won't be back.

After that was done, with no drama, Indigo picked out a toy and away we went for a post appointment treat. They really strive to make the appointment as stress free as possible for the kids, this is fantastic, and prevents/minimizes fear of all things dental appointment related. Somehow all of my personal information including my phone number magically disappeared from the account and they only had my husbands number. No way could this have been possible because he was deployed five times over the course of their lives and I've brought them when he was out of the county. Fast forward to our last appointment, I show up for our dental booking which I made last year. We live downtown and I took off work, picked up kids, and sat in traffic to get there by 4:30pm. 5 minutes early and the receptionist says, "Oh, we tried calling you 2 days ago. Your appointment is one day too early for your insurance to cover it." What?!? We knew that we had these deadlines with our insurance last year. They relayed we would be good to go when they booked our appointment. If they had any issues, they should be checking well in advance so we can reschedule appropriately. They did call my husband's number 2 days earlier but didn't listen to the voicemail because he had been getting reminder texts the week before and even the day of!! They should have called me as I have been the primary since day one. There is some serious incompetence at the front desk at this place. Too bad because we really liked Dr. Whitt.
