Had a fun time with family at Meridian Bowl. However, my husband bowled one ball one time and realized his hip was not ready to bowl. He had a recent hip replacement. We were there about 5 minutes and he bowled one time and to our surprise he was not given a refund. Not cool or professional. This is my favorite bowling alley in the Valley, but it's not fancy, glitzy or even too terribly clean. Lol. I just feel like a bowling alley should be lived in. There should be a story breathing across the lanes, generations of laughter bouncing off the wood paneling and countless stories told over beer and fried food. This place is big! It probably has 30 lanes? Plus pool, arcade games and rows of dart boards (in the bar). They recently updated the scoring system and it has all sorts of cheesy options to choose from. My crew chose the selfie option. We all took stupid pictures and then the system puts funny glasses, hats, noses on you. It was fun. They have a full bar so you can get bottled or draft beer, liquor or wine. But again...this is a bowling alley so you're getting well liquor and cheap wine. And the snack bar is full of all the fried food you could possibly want! We had 8 people playing and we only bowled one game. We rented shoes and it came out to $11/couple! That's a screaming deal. And made all the sweeter by all the laughs and cheers and jeers. read more

Made a reservation for a lane for 2 hours of bowling for my husbands birthday on a Friday night. We arrived and were squished into a lane that other parties had clearly taken over with their shoes and food and drinks spread completely into our lane so we asked to change lanes to the other side of the alley which was empty. They moved us which was much appreciated! We had fun bowling, lol, some times the scores were calculated incorrectly like counting as a strike when there was still a pin standing and some other funky occurrences but we had fun nonetheless! Guys behind counter were exceptional and gave great service. however, the older woman that took our order at Bulleye snack bar was very rude and rolled her eyes at us twice for common questions. I love this place. It has everything a local bowling alley could offer. Booze, darts, bowling, pool, and food! And the best part? This place won't break the bank. Their costs are very reasonable...even down to the booze!!! We usually go a few times a year and they are always packed but always able to accommodate us. They now have these awesome graphics for bowling where you can take a picture of yourself that shows up on the screen and when you bowl it randomly puts a fun clip art filter on your selfie. Poorest bowling center in the Treasure Valley. The whole season has had broken bowling pins. This place has gone downhill!

They put our name on a list to bowl as soon as the league bowling is over. Upon checking with the desk over an hour later, ( cause there are quite a few open lanes). We find out, they decided to cross your name off the waiting list because they see you have an autistic child with you. Never once did they even check to see if we still wanted to bowl. When asked why they didn't call our name, or send the text that a lane is open, they had no excuse nor were they even apologetic for skipping us. read more

I bowl a lot, 2-3 times a week, in the Boise/Meridian area and this is hands down the best alley. Their lanes are maintained well and the vibes are perfect for hanging out. It's pretty obvious that this alley is set apart, all the serious rollers join the league there. read more

The mechanics constantly got stuck and the lanes are poorly taken care of.
