It is Tues night (07/23) and I have not heard from him since he took my deposit. I had to reach out. He said he was held up in a job in SC because of the storm and could not make it for Wed (07/24). I said OK and he said Friday (07/26) would work. Fri comes. It is 5pm and I have not heard from him again. I had to reach out to him again. I asked for my deposit because nothing was done. This was his response when I asked for a refund, "Gladly. Told you the rain pushed my stuff back. If you wanna be impatient and not understanding that's fine. I'll return the stuff Tuesday when I'm back in town and you can find someone to pay double for the project. Thanks" So the rain pushed back your stuff, you give me 2 new dates, I don't hear from you, and you call me impatient for wanting my money back because you are a liar and extremely unreliable? I have sent multiple texts and sent multiple requests for my money via cashapp. At first, he sounded legit, friendly and knowledgeable. Price was fair. Took my money quick and kept it. That is $800. Do not hire this man. Do not give him a deposit. Spread the word to everyone you know about him. I will be doing the same via word of mouth or any form of social media. Look him up on Yelp, Home advisor, etc. You will see he is a crook. What goes around comes around. I am looking him up and he doesn't seem to be licensed. I will call in to see if he really has a license and which board regulates him. I will report him and also file a complaint with the BBB and the NC attorney general consumer complaint division and a Google complaint. He also did not put any new boards or secure the floor before installing floor jacks. Additionally I hired Eric to repair my bathroom. I paid him a deposit of $300 on November 27th and said the project HAD to be done by December 15th. He scheduled several days and did not show up and then others he would cancel day of AFTER I asked when he was coming. I was forced to hire another contractor last minute who came when promised and finished in one day. Eric WILL NOT respond to my requests for the refund of my deposit and is terribly unprofessional. They told me it was time to replace the 2 capacitors on my two a/c units. They wanted to charge me $600 dollars for the capacitors and a couple hundred to change them. I purchased 2 new capacitors on Amazon for $15.00 each and it took me 10 minutes to change them. Last year they told me the furnace door safety switch needed to be replaced . They charged me $239. for a new switch and $75. to change it . I found out a new switch was 2 for $12.00 on Amazon. Latest, they said my system was 15 years old and was time to replace them at around $30,000. They said the blower on the upstairs unit was failing with bad motor and oil leak. I checked. No oil leak was found and unit ran great. Are there any honest Heat and air conditioning people out there??????????
