We needed to put in an offer in a single day and they mobilized their network to get us pre-approved for a loan, insurance secured, and a few last minute visits to the house for 'mini-inspections'. 2) Lisa and Kristi have access to tons of 'pocket listings'. They are part of Compass, which runs most of the listings in our area, but they are well-connected w/ the broader real estate community to understand what's coming, what are the details, and what is a fair price. 3) Lisa and Kristi have great knowledge of what to look out for. There were more than a couple things that they caught, which saved us time, money, and headaches. Like, head and shoulders above the rest. I could text her early in the morning or late at night, and she responded quickly to my questions! We were in constant contact, and she pushed when it was appropriate, gave us room when we needed, and was always honest about what to expect. She is an expert on the East Bay market in Northern California. While most agents will simply set up an e-mail alert and hope you buy something, Judy is actively looking for off-market properties and running a market analysis based on recent sales so her buyers have a realistic chance of winning their bids. We recently purchased a home pre-listing, avoiding the feeding frenzy that buyers are facing for every home in the suburbs. This is because Judy was able to set up an appointment the day before the house went on the market and discern what the seller wanted, which allowed us to make a competitive offer the very next day. She aggressively negotiated terms on our behalf. What makes this deal even better is that her relationships with local mortgage brokers allowed us to find better financing that we were able to find on our own, saving us even more money. When our…read morephotographer arrived at the confirmed date and time, she discovered maskless workers inside the small property, which is a direct violation of CDC, County, and CAR® health guidelines. As such, when the photographer told Kristina that she was not comfortable performing the shoot​ under these circumstances, Kristina threw a temper tantrum and proceeded to berate her (a Mom concerned about her family​), then scream​ed through the phone​ at our customer support staff, and then at me, saying "I don't care, just deal with it." We asked her to reschedule once the listing was ready to photograph, only to be met with considerable hate and nasty texts, calls, and emails. While we understand that agents are under a lot of pressure and we don't take that personally, this is not the first time we've had to ask Kristina to behave in a more professional manner. We absolutely cannot tolerate anyone demanding we neglect the health and safety of our community. We are very sorry that she is unhappy, but our COVID terms were very clear when she placed her order.  Therefore, we denied service to her. Please also note that we DID NOT charge her a $350 cancelation fee. That is a false accusation that she posted on social media .We're happy to resend her that invoice for her records. She asked me earlier today why I can't leave this incident in the past and move on . Well, even though this happened long time ago, I am still loosing business by the bad review she left on our page. As I am reading other bad reviews from her to another businesses,I feel very bad for them too. Specially in this global pandemic when we need to support each other. Eric Larson helped us to find the perfect home in Lafayette. In a competitive and fast-paced market, Eric was always friendly, patient, very thorough and never pushy. He is knowledgeable about the Lamorinda area, matching our needs to the right neighborhoods and homes to view. After seeing a home, Eric always took the time to engage in a conversation about the property to understand our thoughts and share his own ideas and knowledge, and helped us carefully consider each home we viewed based on our needs and goals. As homes came on market, Eric always took into consideration what we did or did not want in previous homes, so our time was never wasted. He is very responsive, and made sure when he was out of town or not readily available, that we had a channel of communication set up with his team who we could go to. There was zero pressure to bid on a home or push back on any of our decisions to not make a bid. However, if he had some knowledge of a home going way over our budget, he made us aware so we could move on. Even though Eric was the primary agent on the Paddy Kehoe team that we worked with as Buyers, the extended team were all great contributors to help us secure our new home. Paddy introduced us to an amazing Mortgage Broker, a true master in communication and follow-up, who worked with us early on to make sure we could move fast when we had an offer accepted. Eric and our mortgage broker were a great team, making sure any of our offers were thorough and that our loan approval was seamless. In this market, Buyers need someone fast but thorough to find a new home and put in a successful offer, and Eric definitely meets those needs. We continued to use Paddy Kehoe and his team as Sellers. As we were occupied with moving into our new home, we easily put our confidence in Paddy and Brittany to fully manage the preparation of our home to sell. They scheduled all the inspections, counseled us about what work would be most impactful for sale, but were also very respectful of our decisions if there was something we didn't want to do. The communication across the team (Paddy, Brittany, Michelle) were always aligned, they were all very responsive when we had questions and provided timely reminders if there was action required on our part. Paddy has a great understanding of the market, where to price our home, and thus we received several outstanding offers, many above what we were asking for. Even now that we have settled into our new home, and have closed the sale on our previous home, Paddy continues to support us in our new community in Lafayette, whether it's greeting us in the neighborhood or at school events, or in sharing recommendations for home projects. We also have come to learn how involved and supportive Paddy is in the community, and this makes us even more confident in recommending Paddy and his team. The Motley team are top-ranked brokers who will work their butts off for you and provide the highest level of service. My prior affirmation of their skillset I hereby reaffirm to the power of 10. Now that we are relocating, we're going through the motions again of finding a new real estate agent, and everyone I've talked to is being held against the bar that is Simon and Kelly. They know their market, their neighborhood, the other agents in the area, and brokers/bankers. Exactly what realtors should be able to provide. Had we started our search back again, I know we would have signed with them again. Hopefully we'll find someone just as good for our new neighborhood :)
