I will start off by saying this place has some GOOD lemon drops! However, the food was unfortunately lacking flavor / seasoning. Ambiance was nice they played really good music and I would definitely go back for drinks.

I've been here twice this year already and it's only april. We've nearly tried all the apps and even had a table of 11. Our servers have been great both times. No one has had anything they didn't like. It's super busy in here between 6-9 and then it really does off. It's a very clean look inside and the vibe is very fun, it may be a little loud in here if you're looking for a first date spot. Tip: call La Fia for reservations they don't have a phone

The drinks here are amazing and worth every penny. The service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, I found the food dishes to be very expensive, small portions, and flavorless. I would only come here for drinks. Their is a parking deck behind this restaurant. Street parking is impossible.

This place is great for a first DATE or after a long day at work. Drinks and bar food are premium but not premium prices. The place isn't as big maybe up to 40 people. Music is nice as well Food come fast Drinks are good Service is phenomenal Highly recommended!!!!

Love me a tiki drink - what a great glass!

Had a really wonderful time late-night on a chilly holiday Saturday night after a show. So glad we checked it out! Magda was incredible - friendly, attentive, kind, and great with a recommendation. We had drinks and a few small plates, and everything was great. The cocktail list was original and unique, and the classics they offered were well constructed as well. We enjoyed the casual vibe, the easy central location and the awesome service. Looking forward to getting back ASAP - thanks for a wonderful night!

Merchant bar is in a cute little area of town and I'm glad that we ventured away from the river front to come and try it! The vibe is casual yet has an upscale-ish feeling and fits right into the city. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. The nacho fries are killer and there was enough toppings to go around for all of the fries. This was my first time trying bao buns and they were delicious! The texture of the bun alone is enough to make me keep coming back.. they're like a cloud in your mouth.

First and foremost I had the calamari and let me tell you it is by far the best fried perfectly and has a kick with the sauce. I also had the French 75 delicious. Service is exceptional very attentive. Ambiance is chill low key.

This place had a really nice interior, so nice that I forgot to take more pictures of it! It's a smaller spot but it has a great date night feel to it. The food was pretty mid -- there weren't that many options, everything was priced high for the portion size, and the overall taste didn't blow me away. I would say that the pad thai was the best value for sure and I left feeling decently full. The drink tasted amazing though - I really liked the tiki mug and it had just the right amount of tropical flavor to it. Ultimately I don't see myself coming back here again but it was good to try

Shrimp small plate--Mexican flavors, just spicy, and the bread to sop it all up. We actually almost ordered a second.

This place has really settled in nicely! Service has improved greatly since their opening and now I always know we will be taken care of quickly and enjoy the staff. Their happy hour drinks are not the best deal in town but their drinks are some of the best in town. I recommend trying something out of your norm! The food is always spot on. They are good with taking care of allergens. If something is wrong, it's fixed without question. It's worth trying to find downtown parking, and going downtown in the first place. Tip: go on Friday--no one is there--it's crazy! And you eat treated like royalty!

Nice place for drinks, dinner, or apps. Nice environment that's casual but nice enough if you are in the area for a show or business. The tables are mostly high tops or bar seating. Also seems suited for small groups, not a large party unless there is a back area I didn't see. The food was really tasty. Relatively good cocktail menu. The cauliflower tacos were great and so was the fried mozzarella.

It is often regarded as one of the best, and you can tell both the chefs and the staff work hard to make it that way. We tried 8 dishes (they recommended 4 to 6 for two people, so we over did it) and left stuffed...like could not finish the delicious dessert stuffed. Our ranking of the dishes we ate: --Carbonara--yes yes yes, a delightful explosion --Lamb neck--the richness of the broth cut slightly with the acidity of the passionfruit...order this --Branzino--light, flaky, heavily seasoned skin (in the best way) --Burrata pop tart--a classic that the entire table will love --Beef Tartare--loved the pillowy bread twist on this dish --Salmon--these are meant to be eaten in 1 bite, a pop of citrus with salty roe at the end --Scallop--this was the only miss for me. I thought the flavors were competing with each other instead of complementing. The Ode to Chocolate was awesome with so many different flavors and textures. A chocolate lovers dream! The staff here was super friendly and helpful. Each dish was described as it came out. I always love that because it shows how much care goes into each dish. Sabrina, our waitress, recommended incredible dishes and answered the dozens of questions we had. We will, of course, be back to try even more.

This is a lovely spot for a special occasion because they give you a giant sparkler for the guest of honor at the end of your meal. It's an intimate restaurant. I loved the unique lights at the tables that felt like taper candles. I'm not sure if it's because of what we ordered, but wait times were really long. It took about an hour for us to get our entrees. Thankfully we were in good company. And our party enjoyed their cocktails. We started with the brussels and cauliflower. This was beyond delicious. You have to order this as a starter. They had a quail special and monkfish special the evening we were there. The birthday girl ordered the quail. It took about an hour to arrive and came undercooked. Thankfully they were kind about cooking it more. I think she enjoyed it once she got to eat. Her husband got the pork chops. I shared the monkfish with a friend and really enjoyed it. We also got the seared tuna for the table and that was good too. Our waitress was super kind especially with the food hiccups. They have one gender neutral restroom stall. It has the prettiest wallpaper. We were stuffed by the time the dessert menus came out. Thankfully they still gave us a mini scoop of ice cream for the birthday girl with a sparkler. It was lots of fun. I think wait times were long for the specials and if we stuck to the regular menu things would've arrived faster. I'd go back to try more yummy food.

I sat on the patio and was able to enjoy the evening's sunset with a meal. I ordered 4 oysters, seafood nachos, and the branzino. The oysters were pricey, which is why I only ordered 4. I was met with disappointment when they came out, since they were super tiny oysters and for the price they were charging, it was not worth trying. The nachos were okay, but there was also a mix with chicken in them, and they ultimately did not end up sitting well after a few minutes and the food came out somewhat cold, so the cheese was already hardening. The branzino was the best part of the meal. The fish was cooked perfectly and fell off the bone. Pairing this with fresh pickled veggies on the side, saved the entire experience. I think they have a great selection of items on their menu, but only a few stand out. This is one of the better restaurants in Wilmington that can accommodate for many as well. Their server was somewhat attentive, and maybe just forgot about me outside, since there weren't may sitting outside. The wait for food was about half an hour, and the oyster appetizer also came out with the entrees. So, it wasn't the best way to have a meal, or it's not what I'm use to. Anyway, I think it's worth trying. Maybe they had an off day!
