I will start off by saying this place has some GOOD lemon drops! However, the food was unfortunately lacking flavor / seasoning. Ambiance was nice they played really good music and I would definitely go back for drinks.

I've been here twice this year already and it's only april. We've nearly tried all the apps and even had a table of 11. Our servers have been great both times. No one has had anything they didn't like. It's super busy in here between 6-9 and then it really does off. It's a very clean look inside and the vibe is very fun, it may be a little loud in here if you're looking for a first date spot. Tip: call La Fia for reservations they don't have a phone

The drinks here are amazing and worth every penny. The service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, I found the food dishes to be very expensive, small portions, and flavorless. I would only come here for drinks. Their is a parking deck behind this restaurant. Street parking is impossible.

This place is great for a first DATE or after a long day at work. Drinks and bar food are premium but not premium prices. The place isn't as big maybe up to 40 people. Music is nice as well Food come fast Drinks are good Service is phenomenal Highly recommended!!!!

Love me a tiki drink - what a great glass!

Had a really wonderful time late-night on a chilly holiday Saturday night after a show. So glad we checked it out! Magda was incredible - friendly, attentive, kind, and great with a recommendation. We had drinks and a few small plates, and everything was great. The cocktail list was original and unique, and the classics they offered were well constructed as well. We enjoyed the casual vibe, the easy central location and the awesome service. Looking forward to getting back ASAP - thanks for a wonderful night!

Merchant bar is in a cute little area of town and I'm glad that we ventured away from the river front to come and try it! The vibe is casual yet has an upscale-ish feeling and fits right into the city. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. The nacho fries are killer and there was enough toppings to go around for all of the fries. This was my first time trying bao buns and they were delicious! The texture of the bun alone is enough to make me keep coming back.. they're like a cloud in your mouth.

Shrimp small plate--Mexican flavors, just spicy, and the bread to sop it all up. We actually almost ordered a second.

This place has really settled in nicely! Service has improved greatly since their opening and now I always know we will be taken care of quickly and enjoy the staff. Their happy hour drinks are not the best deal in town but their drinks are some of the best in town. I recommend trying something out of your norm! The food is always spot on. They are good with taking care of allergens. If something is wrong, it's fixed without question. It's worth trying to find downtown parking, and going downtown in the first place. Tip: go on Friday--no one is there--it's crazy! And you eat treated like royalty!

First and foremost I had the calamari and let me tell you it is by far the best fried perfectly and has a kick with the sauce. I also had the French 75 delicious. Service is exceptional very attentive. Ambiance is chill low key.

This place had a really nice interior, so nice that I forgot to take more pictures of it! It's a smaller spot but it has a great date night feel to it. The food was pretty mid -- there weren't that many options, everything was priced high for the portion size, and the overall taste didn't blow me away. I would say that the pad thai was the best value for sure and I left feeling decently full. The drink tasted amazing though - I really liked the tiki mug and it had just the right amount of tropical flavor to it. Ultimately I don't see myself coming back here again but it was good to try

Nice place for drinks, dinner, or apps. Nice environment that's casual but nice enough if you are in the area for a show or business. The tables are mostly high tops or bar seating. Also seems suited for small groups, not a large party unless there is a back area I didn't see. The food was really tasty. Relatively good cocktail menu. The cauliflower tacos were great and so was the fried mozzarella.

From greeting to goodbye my group was well taken care of. Grace was an attentive server and made great suggestions for the table. We ended up trying most of the menu which we washed down with the colorful and balanced Passionista cocktail (a favorite among the table). Apps: The pork ribs were phenomenal. I was thoroughly surprised by the lemon gel sauce that accompanied them. The wings were cooked perfectly and the cherry BBQ sauce was perfectly balanced. The steak tartare was so different in it's presentation with little fried onions on top and the flavor of truffle coming through, I would absolutely try it again and even recommend it for tartare novices. The scallops were amazingly fresh and beautifully presented. I could have devoured the whole serving. The crispy rice was a nice counter to the tender seafood. My favorite was the burrata poptart! OMG! Topped with everything seasoning and onion jam. So savory and delicious Main: This was the one big hiccup in my meal. I ordered the Wagyu Hangar steak. I was told it is normally medium rare and I understand that some are very touchy about the temp their steaks are served at. I asked for medium or just 30 more seconds of heat. Instead I received a clearly well done steak. No amount of sauce could save it. Thankfully dessert wasn't far behind. Dessert: The semifreddo was very unique and a blend of different textures. The cherries and brightened up the rich chocolate flavor. The peach bellini was presented in a chilled bowl and the flavor was surprisingly intense. My favorite was the knot which was called a cheesecake but was definitely more of a pastry that was an absolute delight. The guava caramel and olive oil gelato played perfectly together. I would come back just for this alone. Overall, I enjoyed my visit as did my team. It may be an apps and dessert only kind of place for me (AKA Girl Dinner), but don't let that stop you from giving them a shot!

I can say without a doubt that the Chef at Eclipse LOVES to cook and cares about what he/she puts on a plate. Amazing food. Husband had the pork chop and was beyond pleased with his food. The skin was rendered and so crunchy AND meat was so tender. Was sitting in a perfect lemony sauce, served with super crunchy potatoes. Also, the staff was so personable and attentive. Since I showed up around 4pm, the restaurant was pretty empty - it wasn't lunch time but it wasn't dinner time yet. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine, their bistro salad (chopped greens, cucumbers, vine-ripened tomatoes, feta, red onion, and red wine vinaigrette), and agnolotti (ricotta and herb-filled agnolotti, crispy pancetta, English peas, and Parmigiano-Reggiano). The wine was nice, and the food was quite good overall. The salad was simple, and the pasta was good, too. AJ at the bar was great - he was new (he was still learning the cocktail menu), but he was friendly and helpful. When I walked in, AJ was a little swamped at the bar (since the only people at Eclipse were at the bar), but there wasn't anyone at the host stand, nor did other staff standing near the kitchen say anything or tell me where I could sit. I was more than happy to sit at the bar - as a solo diner at an off-hour, it seemed like the easiest thing to do - but I wasn't sure if I could just grab a barstool and sit down or not. Since no one said anything, eventually I did just that, which was only a bit awkward (and I do get that I walked in between lunch and dinner service). Overall, it was a nice meal - nothing mind-blowing, but I do like their menu, and I enjoyed the food and my glass of wine. I wouldn't mind returning to try more of their menu on another occasion when I'm in Wilmington.
