My shed was built on a slope, and when it was completed, I expressed concern with the piers that were placed on one end. Angela arranged for a supervisor to come out and, even though the piers were installed exactly as they said they would in the contract (I don't always read the small print), he had someone come out and revise them to appease me. I had a 12' x 16' studio built with a lean-to roof and skylights, which make the space feel much larger, and allow me to work without relying on artificial light. The structure transformed an overgrown, unused part of the backyard into something that now feels like an extension of the home, and seamlessly integrates with the garden. The permitting process with the city took some time, but the end result was absolutely worth it. The first day I worked in it, I finally had windows to look out of, and the skylights filled the space with natural daylight. We…read moredecided to finish one of the sheds and every contractor that we have had out has commented on the high quality of materials and build on our sheds. The shed selection on site made it easy to pick our options, but we did ask about some extra add ons not on display that really made a huge difference in the look of our sheds. Based on some other shed photos we saw online, we upgraded the doors to the window door and on the shed that we finished, we added 3 small windows on the top long wall and it added so much light, and doesn't prevent tall shelving from being used. If you are getting a shed for a working space, I highly recommend adding those top small windows. We worked with Richard to order everything and he was super chill and no pressure. All the upgrades were things we brought up, and he clearly explained what would/wouldn't work. I felt the upgrades were very reasonably priced. Each shed took one day to build and the friendly crew came out on time each day. It took about 3 weeks to get on their schedule, which was enough time for us to get the space ready for the build.
