There is limited seating on plastic stools, or you can stand by the counter and use the ledge to put your plate on. This place is definitely worth a stop, if you're eating your way down Chapultepec. (If you are not familiar with flautas, they are rolled tacos that are then deep fried. you may know them as "taquitos" and buy them frozen from the grocery store. Slightly larger than the lid of a Starbucks Venti, these small beauties are the perfect size vehicle for this ideal collaboration of ingredients. We had cafe de olla and some dishes that made for an amazing brunch. We ordered a plate of Arrachera with tortillas and Bistec Encebollado (steak with onions) with beans. On the same plate we had chicharrones en salsa, a breakfast staple in this city. To balance the heavier dishes we had a Jugo Verde drink made from fresh pineapple and parsley. The staff were so friendly, we felt at home with the kind approach and nice ambiance. The decor is traditional and tasteful, we had such a fun experience. The quesadillas come with beans but they're cooked with lard. At no extra cost, the waiter was able to substitute the beans with steamed veggies. The food is delicious.
