I'm always satisfied with the portions, flavor, presentation, service....pretty much everything. The ONLY item not served with the birria is CILANTRO!! I knooooowww!!! I LOVE cilantro with mostly all my Mexican food. They don't use it therefore, they don't have it available. :( :( :( I will have to remember to bring my own next time. I gotta have my herb. :). (heehee) Ambience: Large seating area indoors and outdoors. Typical Mexican decor - so pretty, comfy and inviting. Service: Awesome, but can slow down as the place gets busier. Order a beer in the meantime. :) Food: ... AWESOME!!! Meat is so tender and the broth is deliciously flavored! The refried beans are so addictive. YOU WILL ENJOY THIS DELICIOUS CUISINE. Read the review posted from Jonathan C. from Atlanta, GA. It's spot on.

Because it's so close to the airport my dad and I decided to hit this place up as soon as our flight landed cause...who doesn't eat BIRRIA when in GDL?! This place did not disappoint! Fresh salsas, tender juicy fall apart birria, savory consomé, fresh homemade tortillas...we were in heaven! If you come to GDL and don't hit up this spot, did you even come??? 5 Stars...and that's too low a rating lol

Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and honestly some of the best we've had. The guac was fresh and elevated by the tuna on top, which added a really nice, unexpected touch. Service was wonderful throughout the meal -- attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out at just the right pace. The beers were ice cold, which was perfect given the warm evening. The setting itself is absolutely beautiful -- relaxed, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, making it a great spot whether you're out for a casual meal or a special night. Casa Luna really nails the balance between great food, great drinks, and great ambiance. We'll definitely be back.

I had the cinnamon mole, it was delicious - I expected it to have a strong cinnamon taste but it was prepared beautifully and it tasted like a genuine, traditional mole. Chicken breast portion was very generous. My husband had the steak molcajete. It was just ok. Nothing bad but nothing to come back to. I highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience.
