I had a scar along my forehead that Dr. Josephitis was able to cover very nicely. Matt, who I…read morebelieve is one of the contacts for out of state patients, was super helpful the entire time leading up to the actual day of the procedure. He acted as a middle man between the doctor and I, and was able to answer any questions I had. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly the day I arrived for surgery. After I checked in, Dr. Joesephitis met with me to confirm the plan. He was very friendly, professional, and had great bedside manner. Once I was taken back into the procedure room, all of the techs, or nurses, introduced themselves. The room itself was relaxing and saturated in large windows, so it didn't feel cold and lifeless like some medical offices do. Jersey did my numbing and I actually didn't feel anything, other than a few small stings in the beginning. While she did that, Miko (I apologize if I forget her name, since I was pretty out of it at that point from the Valium) used a massager on my back to trick my nerves from feeling too much pain from the anesthetic. From there, Dr. Joe came in and decided exactly how to cover my scar. Then, the techs/nurses placed everything. The entire process took about 6-7 hours. I was asleep about 90% of the time. Overall, everyone made me feel very easy and relaxed, which I appreciated it. If you're looking for a hair transplant clinic, I'd definitely recommend this one. I've heard great things about the other doctors there as well, but Dr Joe, and the entire staff, including Matt and the front desk, did a phenomenal job. Definitely consider a consult with them!

I had an consultation appt here. It's a really nice looking office and I'm sure Chrissy is a good…read morestylist. She said she has 80 clients. But just be aware of what you're getting into. I ordered a hairpiece myself for $250 and it was a basic stock knotted unit most people use. Probably similar to what she uses and she gets a discount. $250 is about the running price online. No supplier is very obviously superior to another, same materials and craftsmanship. It's just human hair on poly. Chrissy said she uses 4 suppliers. You can get custom virgin European hair double knotted with bleached knots for maybe $400-$600 but it'll take a few months to arrive and those pieces are rarely used. Custom is common for like $50-$100 more, but cheaper colored Indian hair is typically used. Anyway Chrissy charges $999 for it. Chrissy lists a hair cut in service for $450 on her site. Many stylists charge $70-$90 for that but I'd be willing to pay a few hundreds bucks extra for a quality job. But when I got there she said she will only cut in a piece ordered from her, and you can imagine the markup. She pretty much said she doesn't want to have a client she makes any less money on because she has enough that she does, so our consultation was about 5 minutes. And that's fine, she has a right to charge a premium for her services. Just be prepared to buy about 2-4 pieces per year at $1500 each, as well as the regular clean and cut services. And she's not the only one charging this too, by the way. She did sort of mention something like a monthly membership deal exactly like Hair Club for Men, but we didn't really discuss it and I might have misheard her on that.

Chrissy is terrific to work with in regard to hair loss (male or female). I (middle aged female)…read moreopted for the hair piece treatment and have absolutely no regrets. I was VERY NERVOUS about trying this option for me. Chrissy addressed my fears and even allowed me to try it on a "trial basis". I loved my (new) look from day one. In my opinion, it is much better dealing with a small professional like Chrissy at HLS rather than dealing with the larger places (Hair Restoration Institute; Hair Club). I highly recommend that you make an appointment with Chrissy to discuss your hair loss options. There is no obligation whatsoever and she doesn't pressure the client, unlike other places!!
