Well, the opportunity finally presented itself when Drip N' Sip 757 was used as the venue for a cake decorating class we signed up for! Since the event was after hours, we weren't sure if we'd actually be able to order anything from the coffee shop, so we were VERY happy to see that the owner was there along with cashiers and baristas, and they were still serving drinks. I ordered a sugar-free raspberry vanilla matcha, frozen, and it was delicious! One thing I really appreciated is that you can get their drinks hot, iced, or frozen, and they have SO many options for customization. They have basically every milk you could ask for: soy, oat, coconut, cow's milk, etc. They even offer both regular and dairy-free whipped cream. There are also tons of different flavors to choose from, plus pastries if you want something to eat. But let's talk about the DECOR because this place understood the assignment. There's a huge mural covering an entire wall by @somitheartist on Instagram, filled with 90s nostalgia. There are references to MTV, All That, and even THAT little "S" we all used to draw by making the lines and connecting them. If you know, you know. Seeing that on the wall immediately took me back. The whole shop has such a fun, nostalgic vibe without feeling overdone. The cake decorating class itself was a great time, but since that was a separate event, I won't get too much into it here. All very nice staff! Super friendly, personable, and helpful. I tried the Signature Drink called Drip N Sip. It is a white chocolate mocha with caramel, and I decided to get it frozen. I love that all the drinks can be made hot, iced, or frozen. They have every type of milk including coconut, oat, and almond. They also even have nondairy or dairy whipped cream options! Literally something for everyone. My drink came out very fast despite there being about 15 of us, and it was very good! Drip N Sip is decorated in everything 90s! From my favorite 90s tv shows, to music groups, movies, and tv stations, it is super nostalgic! I love all the artwork and the brightness of the place. I rescued my dog Lexi in the fall of 2011 from this shelter. She was only 6 months old and gave me…read morethose puppy eyes, begging for someone to adopt her. She had been abused and either abandoned or ran away. She was found wth a deep head wound that left her mostly bald and had several gashes around her neck. With some love and tlc she finally has a full head of hair but sadly her deep gashes (which my vet deemed most likely the result of battery acid burns, used as a baiting method in fighting dogs) still remain on her neck. She is so full of love and energy and a completely wonderful dog. I'm so glad this shelter found her and took care of her before me. When I was at the shelter, they provided cots in the dogs' pens for them so sleep on and kept the animals well hydrated in the summer heat. There is a nice play area for volunteers and potential adopters to spend time with the dogs. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Overall I thought this shelter did an amazing job. Thank you for everything!

They play and always have a bunch of different toys. You can tell this place really cares about the puppies and they are so knowledgable too! The puppies here look healthier than any other petstore I have been too. I know the "adopt don't shop" movement is getting big... but if you're looking for a puppy that you know what you're getting then go here! (They have a lot of mixed puppies sometimes too, so you know they aren't getting dogs from puppy mills!)

The staff and volunteers absolutely do a fantastic job here, and the animals receive attention and love while they wait for their forever home. It's all about breaking the resistance down slowly over time. Drip effect, folks. They've been indoctrinated without even realizing it and suddenly the whole family is in the car on their way to see a sweet Husky girl. Who of course is already adopted when you get there. And of course your son falls in love with a handsome pit bull who OF COURSE you take home instead. This is the cheapest animal I've ever adopted, and he came neutered, microchipped, tagged, vaccinated, and checked for food and toy aggression. Moreover, he's been the best friend for our son for a year now. Maybe they could have warned us that he's a bed hog, though!

I was told I was the third applicant and that I would be contacted if the first 2 applicants were no longer interested. I received an email that the cat was available and asked me if I was still interested. I sent 4 emails and left 1 voice message the same day. 2 days later I sent a fifth email and received a short reply that the cat was given to someone else. Should you apply for a cat or dog, sure, but expect the shelter to play some games with you. I was a longtime foster with NACC and have donated for years. I'll be taking my business elsewhere since they can't be decent enough to respect my time.
