Located right off the highway at the Eddy Rd./Bratenahl stop, this was the perfect dog park for me and my dogter, Mocha. The park is located right next to the city hall building. There's a small playground and not a lot of parking, so it's quaint, but a nice little setting for an afternoon outside. I wanted to take my dog someplace that didn't have a ton of other dogs because she's only been to a dog park once before. This place was perfect! The dog park isn't super huge, which I liked. It's secure with no gaps in the fence. There was a bucket with balls and sticks if you wanted to play catch. They don't allow any digging but also provided some shovels for repair incase you dog does dig. There were a few different picnic tables and seating areas so that owners could hang out and not have to be super close to one another. This worked out perfectly for Mocha and I as there was another larger dog there that intimidated her a bit, but we got ot stay in our area and the other owner and dog were elsewhere. Eventually she felt more comfortable roaming around but didn't have to engage with the other dog if she didn't want to. The park is clean and had bags incase your pup made a poo. I look forward to taking Mocha back. It's nice to know that there is a park super close to us where I feel comfortable and she feels safe to run around a bit without getting super dirty or rolling in geese poop.

Chagrin River Park is a nice area. It of course is located along the Chagrin River. You can cross a…read morenice bridge over this. Also there's many athletic facilities. This is located off Lost Nation Road in Willoughby. A lot of good things to do here. It has some great trails for exercise or sightseeing. The best is the one that goes over the river, where you can get a good view. A popular place is the picnic areas. These are located close to the parking lots so you don't have to go far to haul things. It has a few parking lots but these are small so it these get filled up fast. This is why it's good to bring a bike here. It always is enjoyable in good weather here to walk around. It's mostly a very safe park. The best thing are the views.

There's walking paths, well paved and maintained, LOTS of benches in different locations, a really cool play area, and a little sand strip. The signs say no swimming, but there's usually someone in the water - there's no life guard, and you can sit on the big rocks or directly on the sand. Parking is a bit tricky. There are maybe 2 dozen spots in the park, and no street parking directly outside, so you may have to circle a few times or walk a few blocks in if it's busy. My dog loves it here. There's plenty to sniff, and she's usually guaranteed a dead fish or two to hunt for (Mom does not approve this activity).

It's a small park, but great to stretch your legs. Since it was hot when we went, it was just the right size for my senior dog to get some exercise without overheating.

This patch of green offers a nice playground for young children, a pretty outdoor pavilion that overlooks the beautiful blue waters of the lake & there's even a deck on the side of the shelter house for all to enjoy! It has nice grills if you're picnicking too. There's plenty of shade & equal amounts of sun, lots of parking & my personal fav. -it's dog friendly! It's also large enough to play a game of soccer or football. It's not far from the main strip so you can easily grab food & bring it back to enjoy as well. The perfect escape from the crowded sidewalks & noisy environment.
