PLEASE READ TEXT EXCHANGE CLOSELY. THIS IS HOW REMI DOES BUSINESS!!!!!…read more I previously posted about how dishonest Amanda and Shannon are. The following is an on-going text thread I have had with Amanda. Amanda came to my home this week for a home visit. When she came to my door, she told me she was videoing me in case she felt threatened and that her and Shannon had discussed this ahead of time. Huh? I too have this on video, you will hear no rebuttal from Amanda or Remi because this is true. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED TEXT MESSAGE THREAD. AMANDA CAME TO MY DOOR AND TOLD ME SHE FELT THREATENED BASED ON WHAT WAS IN THE THREAD. THIS LADY CAME TO MY DOOR AND SAID SHE FELT THREATENED. THIS IS THE MOST CONNIVING, IMMORAL AND DISGUSTING ENCOUNTER I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A LANDLORD. PLEASE SHARE A little front story, the front and back steps to the home I live in owned by Coast Guard Master Chief Petty Officer Christopher Cole are unsafe and have been so for years, dating back to the prior tenants. All of the pictures Amanda has taken during her home visits will prove me right, so there will be no rebuttal from Amanda or Remi. Everything about the house is junk and embarrassing for what we pay. Again, don't expect any picture rebuttals. Amanda has said at the last 3 home visits, which take place bi-annually that stair/ railing repairs would be made. That is what led up to my offer to repair in the text exchanges. As of today, the repairs still have not been done. Amanda and Remi have decided that they are going to twist this and make me the bad guy for wanting safe steps. There have been 2 falls now, but no one has gotten hurt yet. I FULLY EXPECT REMI TO RETALIATE AGAINST MY FAMILY AND I. WE'VE TAKEN PICTURES ALL ALONG THE WAY AND HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. The following is the exact conversation between myself and Amanda/ Remi, I went back to November 14th, but please note that AMANDA SAYS "As per your text on March 17, 2023 at 11:28 am" WHEN EXPLAINING WHY I AM A THREAT. If anyone can explain to me how this lie makes any sense, I am all ears. Amanda should be fired. PLEASE READ: I KNOW YOU WILL READ THIS AMANDA. HOW WAS I A THREAT TO YOU? I HAVE A WIFE AND A BABY. I explained our financial situation and you were receptive and understood. I got you the payment sooner than I said I would and we get a notice saying we will be evicted if late again. Fair enough, I understand someone wanting there money on time. No issue there. It certainly brings to mind other things that should be done on time. Apparently, it was a request from the owner. Nov 14, 2022 3:17:28 PM Me: Again, fair enough. With that, We can't lock the garage door. It is broken. Not a door in this house keeps out mice or bugs. Need a new vent fan in master bath. Garage outlets keep shorting out. The painted kitchen counters are peeling off, the fronts glass door has a busted spring, the mailbox is rotten and falling off, the front fence is entirely rotten, although I retailed it to keep it together, the screen on the back porch still has holes and is hanging out, one back door has a completely rotten sill, the other is rusting through, the knob to the back porch failed and was stuck closed,- I cut it out and replaced it with a brand new knob, the carpet is like a bad joke and has stunk since day 1 and I could keep going. Update: after moving out of the home, a month later they have decided to charge an additional…read more$1,000 to me, some of which is acceptable (trimming shrubs, light bulbs, 3 days of rent, etc.) BUT a $275 dollar cleaning fee to scrub the walls free of smoke soot. I DO NOT SMOKE! The soot that they are referring to was from a prior tenant that heavily smoked in the home and was not taken care of prior to me moving in! It seems to me that this company decided to rent for another year so they could tag their repair costs on the unlucky tenant that happened to need somewhere to live. I wish I had taken photos prior to moving in. DO NOT RENT FROM REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT!!!! Update 2: I searched to try and find photos of the home prior to my move in to show proof that it was dirty prior, but of course they made sure they were all plenty blurred so no one could see the details! SHADY COMPANY!!!

When the broker got back to us she was just as bad. We are new to the area and they left a real bad taste in our mouth and walked away from someone with money and clout in the community. Do not go with this company.

Stay away from doing business with this rental agency. I lived in a rental through T&C for three…read moreyears and found a few things odd during my time there. It wasn't until after moving out that I realized most of these reviews are accurate. They are quick to get things fixed..but they do NOT perform annual inspections even though they claim they do them. I had 1 inspection in the 3 years living there. The problems began once I moved out. They have very costly move-out requirements that will break the bank when you have little notice to move. Even if you meet these requirements, they will find a way to charge you for something. They claim to do inspections, but were trying to charge me for damages caused by the tenant before me. Luckily, I had noted it on my move in inspection and had photos to prove that the damage wasn't caused by me. I'm still convinced they collected that through the bogus "cleaning" fees they took from my deposit. Oh and good luck getting your deposit back if you somehow do. I gave my forwarding address to two different associates and still had to call back after 30+ days to find out they sent it to the wrong address. Very disappointed and would not recommend doing business here

The landlord, Jerry, 2209 Foxhorn, was wonderful and kind and attentive. We build a great relationship with him, or so we thought. When it came time to move out his wife lost her mind, and was screaming and swearing about the behind the fridge having some dust. The management company, who had previously signed off on us doing a great job cleaning, and said we would get out deposit back, was there, Melissa who works for that company had recently been trolling me about the move out and that she wanted my rug (weird), and laughed at the landlords wife lost it like a petulant child. Melissa sent me a series of last min texts saying they needed to get in to do an inspection within the day (illegal, legally you need two days notice, then freaked out and said her husband has his face slammed in the door- spoiler, it was not slammed in his face, just another example of the crazy). I spoke to the owner, who I knew from mutual activities,and she refused to help. Stay away. They are absolutely crazy and corrupt. We did not get our security deposit back, also illegal for normal living in a place. We paid $400 in cleaning to make sure it was in great condition when we moved out. Just a nightmare
