I had a miscarriage right when I moved here and so I found this office but they weren't crazy helpful. Once i had my second miscarriage about five Months later it was even worse. I had really bad cramps and bleeding and so i went in and they gave me an ultrasound and told me everything was fine. Two days later i had a miscarriage. Then they told me to self monitor my miscarriage. I had called with some issues from my miscarriage and they didn't take any quick action at all. They couldn't get me in for over a week and when i showed up they wouldn't see me unless i paid a $600 bill that i got in the mail the day before the appointment. You are not the priority there. The female doctor was very condescending when i called for help. The only good interaction i had talked with the male doctor, he was nice. Any questions i had i got dismissed or i was talked around in a circle where i wouldn't get any answers. I got no help during some extremely hard times. I found someone else and they did everything they could as quick as possible to figure out what is causing the issues from the miscarriage and how they can help me to be healthy again.

The counselors were wonderful but at the end…read moreof my 75 hours the Dr. said I owed 277.50 for one on one sessions that I was led to believe was included with my 75 initial hours. That's a lot of money to surprise someone with since she was paid nearly $1800 in full. I would have never opted to any form of treatment that included paying one more cent than I had to and on top of that she claims we had an entire conversation about these sessions that never took place which leads me to believe she is also somewhat unstable. I've only encountered the lady 3-4 times max when she filled in for group when no one else was available. I've never had a single appointment with her or a conversation one on one with her during my entire 75 hours. I'd highly recommend NOT using pleasant counseling.

We mistakenly chose Pleasant Counseling for our custody evaluation. Ms. Pleasant stated she was…read moreexperienced and educated in parental alienation. We chose to move forward without checking her educational background and experience on this topic. We submitted substantial information to her regarding the alienation of my stepson. Her report took 5 months to complete which allowed the complete alienation to take place. Her report was very biased and praised the alienating parent and suggested full custody be given to the children's mother. She described the mother's behavior and text threats to her children as a "learning moment." She described the mother's permissive parenting style toward excessive cursing and name calling as "allowing the children to freely express themselves." The same material we gave Dr Pleasant was also given to an expert in the field to review. He responded resoundingly that this was a severe case of alienation. Dr Pleasant completely misread this case due to her lack of education in this area. We were forced to settle this case without going to court due to the extreme cost of this custody battle for over a year. If Dr Pleasant would have performed an evaluation based on the facts presented to her instead of taking the word of a very alienated teen, we would have had the support of a custody evaluation going forward. Dr Pleasant also counseled the teen after her report was complete and communicated with the child per text and phone calls. We were told this is unethical conduct of a custody evaluator. The child had a counselor assigned to him in this case already and her interference affected the child's opinion of the existing counselor. Following this, the mother and child arrived to the next counseling session and announced they refused to return. My husband has not seen his son in 5 months due to non adherence to the recent custody agreement. The children and their mother alleged "physical force and aggressive behavior." Dr Pleasant did not find any of the allegations to be founded and referred to my husband as a good parent. She then recommended my husband's custody be decreased from 50/50 to 4 days a month. Parental alienation is mental abuse and only evaluators with education and expertise should accept a case that can have such dire consequences for the children.

I have suffered with depression for my whole life and figured that all my issues were related to that. Then, a friend's mom was diagnosed in her 50's and all the symptoms sounded what I was going through myself so I figured I would find out for sure. Marie was patient, understanding, and actually listened to what I had to say. I was pretty nervous about even going and even more nervous about the idea of getting medication. I took about a million assessments and went over a lot with her and it turns out I do have ADHD. She explained all my options with treatment and how everything would work. It took a little trial and error over about 3 months to find the right medication and right dosage but the entire time she was adamant that we do what I was comfortable with. Being nervous about medication, I want small dosages to increase over time. She listened to me! And then when it was time for a large increase, I wasn't too thrilled but she explained WHY it would beneficial and what to expect but it was still my choice. It sounds super cheesy but Marie Anderson changed my life. No joke, being 100% serious. She took the time to really listen to me and find out what was going on and what the best treatment for me would be. My entire quality of life has dramatically improved. I'm not saying she is some miracle worker and obviously I had an amazing experience and you might not but if you are at that point where you think medication or supplements or even just being formally diagnosed could help you, this is the place- they sure as hell have helped me.
