Manager came over and asked if this was for a wedding and I said yes and she looked at me snarky and didn't say a single thing and walked away. We left and will not be doing business here. Men's Wearhouse has really changed. Many years ago I needed a suit for a funeral and the staff were so enthusiastic and knowledgeable with the products I left with a suit, shirt, tie and shoes. I was really impressed. Today I travelled 3 hours with the express goal of buying a suit for a wedding. The salesman provided no guidance or suggestions except to go next door to JC Penny. He didn't even want to measure me at first. It felt like he was trying NOT to sell me a suit. Every answer was either "we don't have your size" or "we don't have that in stock." I guess it was silly to expect to buy a suit from Men's Wearhouse because I left empty handed. Maybe the company stopped paying the salesmen for sales. read more

Yelp needs to offer zero stars for reviews so chumps like this can get them. They actually deserve negative stars. I went to this store with the sole purpose of leaving there with 5-6 suits. My sizes have changed and I was looking for a whole new set up. Suits, shirts, etc. I walked around the store for 20-25 mins and not one of the clowns working there even made eye contact with me, let alone speak to me. The place was not busy. When I approached the kid at the counter I told him I was looking to buy 5-6 suits. He said "I'll be with you in a minute." It seems folding shirts was more important than my business. I finally decided to buy a shirt just to see if I could interact with one guy. The jackhole at the counter (a new guy) didn't even look at me once. Had his head in the CPU for whatever reason. Finally another customer said, "I think this guy needs some help." The dummy at the desk said "I'll be with you in a minute." Ha! They must have a new company trainer and that's their catchphrase. I just put the shirt down, told the guy I went in there to buy 5-6 suits and accessories and that not one of the asshats working there even spoke to me once. No eye contact, nothing. I must say, it wasn't like I was wearing anything odd. Golf shorts, long sleeve shirt, flip flops. If the guy would have taken two minutes to look me up in his system, he would have seen how many suits I've purchase there over the years. I asked the first nimwit if he could look me up in the system and he said "we don't do that." This company has lost its way. When O was traveling a lot for work and my bags didn't shop up at the airport, I could always call MW in the town I was in and they would throw something together for me last minute and deliver it. Now, I can't even get a store deadbeat to even talk to me. Needless to say, I've bought my last suit with this soon to be out of business joke of a business. Being a small business owner I know how customer support is supposed to look like, this place was the exact opposite of that! When first entering the store I came to a realization that the first worker I came in contact with didn't have much(to any) knowledge on what the location had to offer(maybe new)? After getting passed onto another worker(older 'stout' man) I realized just how bad their customer service actually was. He not only made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and like a child, but he made it very clear that if I didn't know what I was looking for then he wasn't going to waste his time helping me(although I was the only one in the store). Not only was he rude and short with me but he did not take my opinions(on my own suit!) into consideration. After getting passed to yet ANOTHER employee there were many snarky remarks(while I wasn't even in conversation with him) on why I did not want to buy the dress shirts that were being presented to me. After getting passed to the younger lengthier man working in the store I became a little more comfortable, which is the sole reason I am not on the phone with MWH's customer service at the moment. He was more understanding of what exactly I was looking for and how my opinion should actually be taken into consideration when shopping for my own suit(not like I was going to be spending $500+ anyways). My experience ended with the older man making it very clear he was not going to hold onto my outfit for the 1-3 day period that was necessary for me to come back, not giving me a total price(after I asked), and staring at me while not saying a single word while I left the store. To summarize, I was not surprised at the ratings in which I saw after looking this location up. Don't recommend. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. I would highly recommend anyone to take suit and tux rental elsewhere. The first day picking out suits for the wedding to rent went smooth and fairly well because manager (Coleen) was not working. Today we all came down as a wedding party to pick up our suits and verify fitment and let me tell you, what a God awful disrespectful nightmare. The manager Coleen was very rude and disrespectful to us wouldn't let us all be in the store at a time only 3 per group. So jump forward to fitment thank God someone else helped me but the groom was working with the manager and mentioned his suit is a little tight and the Manger (Coleen) wanted to sit and argue with him that it fits fine and that there designed to just wear why you stand there and look pretty. So long story short if I were you I would look for an alternative store for you tux and suit rental needs. read more

We chose to get our wedding party's suits from Men's Wearhouse and it has been an absolute nightmare for our groomsmen. The store in Downtown Minneapolis has been amazing for us to work with, but the Duluth store has been horrible. The customer service is terrible, they are incredibly unorganized, and they have no clue what they are doing. After working in customer service for 7 years, I know that you can have bad days once in awhile. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first bad experience. However when each of our 5 groomsmen has a terrible experience on multiple separate occasions, there is something wrong. read more

We made an appointment to get suits for a wedding. There were 6 in our party. While we waited for staff to help us, the manager caused an embarrassing scene that drew the attention of the whole store while yelling at us that we were not properly social distanced and evicted from the store 3 people in our party in a very rude manner. There were many other kind and subtle ways that she could have handled this situation. I am also a retail business owner and would never treat my customers this rudely. We all left immediately and purchased the wedding party clothes, elsewhere, where we were treated kindly. I would not recommend this store to anyone. We were in Duluth for a wedding. About an hour before the wedding I realized I forgot a dress shirt. My wife and I quickly drove to Men's Warehouse to get a shirt. The sales associates immediately helped us and even pressed the shirt for us. We were able to be in and out of the store in about 5 mins with the shirt pressed and on. It was a great experience. Stay away! i have never seen poorer customer service ever. The smaller red headed woman ( possible manager) was curt, rude, angry and confrontational the entire process. She was not open to any questions from us and cut you off every time you had a question about the fitting. Then when we returned to try on and pick up the tux it was even worse. The pants were wrong, the tie was wrong. I understand mistakes can be made. She got in my wife's face and blamed my wife. Never, never would I go back to that store. Horrible experience! read more

Joyce has always been a wonderful help for both me and my husband for all of our needs throughout the last 3 years in Duluth. After personally being helped by her for my sister's wedding, chaperoning a prom, and my own wedding, I finally decided to buy my own custom suit and I was so happy she was the one to help me. Her customer first attitude is second to none, she really is passionate about making sure I'm making the right decision in my budget. She gave great suggestions, and checked 3 different ways to purchase my suit to see which way was the most cost effective and what checked off all my bullets on my list! We decided on a Calvin Klein suit and I'm super excited to be getting it soon. She is an asset to your team and you should be so happy for her to represent the company. read more

I'm giving them a one star but if I could give them a zero I would. Not because they didn't have what we wanted (because we all know that not every place is going to have what you want) but they wouldn't work with us as soon as they got the vibe that we couldn't find anything there. The associate literally wouldn't measure my fiancé and walked away and went and helped someone else. Virtually in mid sentence. It was rude. We left. We will never be back to that store but in the age of social media, the internet and online companies that ENSURE that you can measure a suit yourself with their instructions and get it right; I wonder why storefront stores are "surprised" when they end up closing their doors after a couple years? If you don't provide a customer what they want, they won't be back and they almost certainly will blow up their social media accounts about a poor experience. Duh! read more

I am only giving them 1 star because I have to in order to leave a review. My wedding was this past Saturday on July 28th and from start to finish I had a horrible experience. The only thing that ever went right here were the wedding colors. The old bald man who works at the Duluth store is very incompetent and the manager Stephanie is very rude, unprofessional, and is the one that messed up EVERYTHING. And on the day of the wedding my husband had TWO buttons pop off his vest and the best man's pants zipper busted. So many other things went wrong and if I listed it all I would be typing for a long time. Erick was the only competent and nice person we talked to there. Three times he had to fix something and apologize for something a MANAGER (Stephanie) messed up on. I will be calling corporate. I will not recommend Mens Warehouse at all to anyone and all the men who rented (10 in total) wont either, especially the Duluth location. read more

My husband found a beautiful mens warehouse Fall / Winter jacket that needed a little extra tailoring. when we brought it in and the tailor (short round one) came out she was extremely rude and disrespectful every time my husband spoke to ask a question she cut him off and would tell him nope that's not how it's done, would not listen to any of his requests and when she 1st came out went "well no wonder it' too big for you". when asked to tailor the sleeves and add 3 more buttons on the breast of the coat her response was "no it can't be done that way." How can you call yourself a tailor if you can't tailor a garment to the customers wish - isnt that the definition of tailoring. Mens warehouse is an overpriced joke, no wonder their store is always empty, soon it will be an empty shell. read more

My niece was married I September 17, 2017. I was initially fitted in Honolulu and picked up my tuxedo at you location in Duluth. I want to complement the staff there for their professionalism. They were very willing to help and work with me to make sure my tux fit just perfect for this special occasion. I was very unhappy with one of the customers that came in who blamed and yelled and insulted the staff. Your staff took this abuse very professional manner and tried to make this customer happy. This person even involve me in this conversation and was told to stay out of my business. I was very happy with my tuxedo if this other person was not happy they should've gone somewhere else. Your staff including the seamstress were awesome I cannot say enough about them and how they handled themselves in this stressful situation my hats off to them read more

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Do not shop here. Went in with my fiancé to pick out the tuxedo for himself and our bridal party and the employee working acted as if he had no interest in helping us and would barely answer our questions. We went in planning to rent 6 full suits for wedding with ties to match the color of bridesmaids dresses purchased at David's Bridal and literally walked out of the store because of the terrible customer service and lack of willingness to help us with our bridal party needs (which is something I have never done before) I called David's Bridal store manager to let her know this (since they are affiliated and I bought my dress and bridal party dresses there) and she said she would look into this and call me back either that day or the next, and low and behold, I have yet to heard back from her or the store manager of Men's Warehouse. So, sadly, no interest in shopping at David's Bridal for any other wedding needs or future weddings I am in. So disappointed. We were planning on having all of this taken care of but now we need to schedule another appointment and shop elsewhere. I seriously said to my friends and family members, "I feel like I was in the movie Pretty Woman, because of the terrible service I received." read more
