Oh my gosh, we adopted the cutest dog from here and my daughters fell in love with her instantly…read more She is incredibly sweet and full of personality and protective. We were told she loved water--and that part is 100% true. She splashes in every puddle, drinks from the faucet, and goes wild at the dog park with anything water-related. She's splashed every water bowl. But I do need to be honest about our experience. Nancy knew this dog had some challenging behaviors and did not fully disclose them to us. Our dog turned out to be a very aggressive chewer--shoes, backpacks, furniture, cords, everything. This wasn't just normal puppy behavior; (ADHD) it required a level of time, training, and attention that we were not prepared for. (Nancy posted on social media that we returned her because she was JUST hyper and we couldn't handle her.) We tried everything--training, toys, frequent trips to the dog park--but with both of us working we couldn't give her the level of attention she needed. It was a very difficult and VERY emotional decision to surrender her! What made things worse and made me really sick was the way the situation was handled when i reached out to Nancy . She cursed at me, yelled at me with every word in the book. I understand her frustration in having our dog returned to her, but it was really hard for us to surrender her and very upsetting to know that she knew the dog is an aggressive chewer and she purposely left that part out out so that she can get adopted. REALLY MAKES ME SICK Nancy!!!!! I do believe the dogs here deserve loving homes, but transparency is so important. Please ask detailed questions and make sure you're getting the full picture before adopting. It can save a lot of heartbreak for both your family and the dog
