Still, their heated vinyasa still got some sweat going, and they the environment is calm and beautiful. Discounts for seniors, juniors, veterans/military, and first-timers, so you should drop by! 5 stars for the staff and yoga itself; a bit less due to amenities (i.e. no showers, limited bathroom and changing space, no lockable lockers). Bathrooms: 1 single-occupancy bathroom on the other end of the classroom. Also, there's a small curtained-off area for changing, about the size of a closet, also single-occupancy. That said, I don't see the traffic here being so high that it's a big issue.

I love Ayurvedic massage and the session I had today as a new patient was just what I needed. I…read morehave had hundreds of massages from dozens of practitioners and I would rate Nicole in the top 5% of all I have experienced. The office is easy to access and parking was available (although during weekends and tourist season it might be a good idea to allow 15 min to park before your appointment). Inside the waiting room was pleasant, the bathroom was clean and the treatment room smelled good (mild - not too strong) and had nice music. I arrived on time and Nicole was ready. She greeted me and invited me into a very cozy treatment room. After a short conversation (3 or 4 questions) about medical history, what brought me in and style preferences, she invited me to get on the table. Nicole started gently, probing and assessing to see what her training and my requests together suggested would be most helpful. From the first touch it was obvious that Nicole is a compassionate, sensitive, confident, experienced and well-trained massage therapist. The whole massage was relaxing and clearly theraputic. After the massage we discussed herbal supplements that might support my healing and I purchased a jar of Chawanprash. My personal reason for going in was to help recover from a serious UTI/kidney infection and get some support for side-effects from antibiotics (e.g. muscle aches, edema, constipation). Nicole knew exactly how to work with my body to ease into releasing the discomfort. She did a fabulous job of listening to my breath and following my body's clues about when to go deeper, linger longer or move on. As I walked out I noticed several things: 1. I could feel my deep muscle aches were gone. 2. I could see that there was a reduction of edema. 3. I knew already that I would be going back soon. BOTTOM LINE: If you want a truly therapeutic massage in Mendocino, you will be doing yourself a favor to go see Nicole.

I also recently went to Delphine's Core Power Flow Yoga class and absolutely loved it. Both instructors do poses and flows that I have kind of forgotten about over the years. I recently moved to Fort Bragg and the people in classes have made me feel welcome to their beautiful community at At One Yoga. At times during classes faint noises can be heard from outside the studio or upstairs. There are mats, blankets, pillows, blocks and ropes if needed. Once you open the door to the studio you are right next to the check-in desk and the area where you will be doing your practice is pretty much right in front of you. There are cubicles to put your things in and a bench if needed. It's $13 to do a drop-in (cash preferred) and you could also do, 5 classes for $50 (expires in two months). At One Yoga is located at 301 Main St Suite E. in Fort Bragg, CA (it will be on your left after passing by the bank) and is inside the Union Lumber Company Store (huge white building). Once you enter the building go to your left, towards the bike shop and keep walking down the hall. You will see At One Yoga on your right near an exit door. There is plenty of on street parking that is free and a bike rack located in front of the Union Lumber Company Store and also in the back. At One Yoga has some well written descriptions of their courses, http://www.at1yoga.com/class-descriptions/. I always recommend checking out any yoga studio's website before coming to class! This way you'll be happy with the class you have chosen.

They also had yoga related vendors, vegan friendly food service, and several massage/acupuncture/reiki services. The only meal included in the event was Saturday nights Farm to Table dinner which was surprisingly good, especially when they were cooking for 300-400 people. Even though this was a yoga event, they offered wifi throughout the entire event for those who couldn't quite disconnect. I liked that they limit this event to 500 people, so it is not crowded and they allow people of all ages, including kids! Overall, the event was fantastic. My only issue was that I rented a cabin, but was unable to run the heat in the cabin because it smelled like gas and gave me a really bad headache.
