As soon as I got back, my dentist referred me to Royal Oral Surgery. Dr. Tamimi took the time and explained how my teeth are impacted and although it won't hurt much during the extraction surgery, it will hurt a lot later after the anesthesia wears out. So he prescribed pain meds to take after the surgery so when the anesthesia is gone the pain won't hit me all at once. The pain came and gone now. I am very happy with the service. Dr. Tamimi was right, and I am glad that he took the time and explained everything to me. I feel encouraged recommending him to my family and friends.

They went and taught me the correct way to brush my teeth, so now every visit ends with them coming up empty. Turns out using your finger and some baking soda isn't exactly cutting-edge dental science. Who knew? I also got my teeth straightened through them, which was honestly no big deal at all except for my personal habit of losing my aligners like they're car keys. Didn't matter though, because they always replace them quickly without making me feel like an idiot about it. And with my wife's insurance covering the bulk of the cost, it's been surprisingly affordable. The staff is great too. Everyone there is around my age, which makes a bigger difference than you'd think. Walking into a dentist office and not feeling like the oldest person in the room is weirdly comforting. My only complaint? Teeth whitening requires holding your mouth open for what feels like an eternity, it's basically the dental equivalent of sitting through a four-hour movie with no bathroom break. But I keep going back for it because my teeth have genuinely never been whiter, so the suffering is worth it. Highly recommend.

everyone and i literally mean everybody from the front desk staff to the dental assistants and…read morehygienist to the doctor herself was excellent, friendly, helpful, caring and compassionate. very professional but not in any way cold, indifferent or merely clinical. they all treat you like you are a very special person indeed, and that significantly increased my personal comfort level which is generally very low when i leave my home due to my agoraphobia. they definitely helped in so many ways from keeping me calm and comfortable while i waited for the dentist in the chair for quite a while, so long that the novacain wore off before she returned to the room to fill my cavities, to allaying my fears by giving me complete and thorough explanations about what was going to be done during a deep cleaning of my teeth and gums to explaining about their care credit program and plan to assist with my financial concerns since i am on a fixed budget. the only issue that came up during this entire two-week experience was when i realized that it was not until after i had about $3,000 worth of dental work done that they decided to inform me that the severe pain in my mouth was caused by irritated gums which could be healed by rinsing with warm salt water 6-8x per day! i don't regret getting the deep cleaning or having the two cavities filled at a premium price of about $300 PER filling to see if that would relieve the pain, which neither procedure helped in the least to alleviate the extreme discomfort. it just felt strange to me that they did not notice that during the initial examination and x-rays phase of the process. but, as i said when i left the office in clifton, nj yesterday, i never thought i would say this, but everything was excellent and i had a great time at aspen dental!

He's never just treated my teeth or found something wrong just to make money, as some other reviewer had mentioned happen to them. In February 2025, I developed horrible tooth/gum pain. My previous dentist stopped taking my insurance & failed to tell me this until I called about an outrageous bill. The next dentist in my area wasn't taking patients for two weeks. I contacted this office (of oral surgery) & was told that Dr. Rannucci was on vacation but his partner oral surgeon was there & I could make an appointment. I specifically asked the young lady on the phone if he not only "pulled teeth" but if he also did general dentistry & she assured me that "he does everything" so I made my appointment. The appointment was for the next day, and early in the morning. I was there on time but imagine my surprise when I spent 20 mins of my "appointment time" listening to the hygienist (a middle aged Caucasian woman with straight dark hair mixed with gray) & the oral surgeon (believe his name is Cappetta.) talking about me & how they would not be able to handle my "care" unless it was to do an extraction. I guess they thought tooth pain made me lose my hearing also. Anyway, they called me to the window & the oral surgeon was pretty dismissive & borderline rude. There was a little back and forth because I was given false information. If he didn't do "general dentistry" and he kept saying I needed a referral. (According to my dental plan I do not need a referral to go to any practice.) why is his office staff stating he does. They wasted my time & I had to both take a day off of work AND get there for before 8am. Ultimately he suggested I go to my old dentist and get a referral but ended up giving me the name of two dentists in my plan that I could call & telling me that after I see them, if I need oral surgery I can "come back here". They couldn't even give me the courtesy of calling those dentists and seeing if they could squeeze me in, due to my high level of pain. I ended up leaving because there was nothing else to do. Also I want to mention that the day I made the appointment I was told I HAD to give a $100 deposit just to see them. Which I did but I made them refund my money. All the while the young lady at the reception desk did my refund request she was smirking. This review may have never happened if I hadn't spoken to my best friend and she tell me she ALSO had a poor customer experience with this office and that same surgeon. She also knows of two additional people that experienced the same. So clearly, this is a pattern. I would sincerely recommend thinking long and hard about coming here unless you like to be mishandled by a doctors office. Sort of a buyer beware situation This is why I do not and would never recommend this office.
