Probably the best place to eat out in Salamanca! They have a great selection of Bacalao (codfish) and we ordered 2. One baked with apple custurd sauce and one with mushroom sauce. Both of them were great but I really loved the apple one for the surprise factor and it WORKED! The surface was a bit crusty, and the flavor of sauce really complemented perfectly cooked cod and there was no weird fishiness. It was SO good. We also ordered mushroom of the season with foie gras which was absolutely delicious and reasonably expensive but it came in good quantity so, ok. The cheesecake I ordered for dessert was ok, not bad nor great.
The waiter Vicent was so sweet. He attended us with such grace and care. I will return the next time I visit Salamanca. read more
