Well it's been a while from my last on this one. Ok sale on furnace filters 3 pack for 11.99 For the middle of the road version. And 10.99 for the Lloyd's pork ribs. Should be around 25 bucks right? The seasoned gal said 50 bucks and change! She scanned the bundled on sale 3 pack as 3 of them Glad I was watching close! I called her out on the price She went right to her phone to look it up The same time I did. Yea I was right. A few key strokes later And the total was right. So my question is how many folks go through the check out with errors like this? Think about it 1 out of a hundred? That can add up! And all the contractors just trying to get in and out fast so they can get back on the job sites to make cash. They need to have the ai camera scan for item count or the weight system that checks by weight Or have the eye in the sky do the audit On count and total! Or do self checkout like at Sam's Club? App and scan and weight check out! No apologies from the staff... Just me thinking we need a change in the check out system. The lost time to correct these issues is adding up fast! But I have to say.... " not my circus, not my monkeys!" But some times watching the caged animals is fun! read more

I've always had a good experience here. Every trip I've found what I needed, had great help, and feel that Menards, in general, has great prices. Once I had a big problem with a big order and they fixed it right away. I just wish the store was next door! read more

Went to get lumber for a sidewalk project for our home Was told no treated lumber. Well ordered the next best things cedar 4x4. Thought we got the right ones . Nope tried a second time nope. Asked for help they walked by and its ridiculous. Now we are complaining because they dont have anyone who knows what or where things are. Was told they had it now find out they dont. Dont there computers keep track of what they have in inventory. They have lots of customers mad as heck. No help and no one seems to know what they are doing .ugh ugh ugh read more

Lots of stuff to buy & I did like how they had all of the fake Christmas trees displayed last November. They also seemed to have one or two birds flying around in the store that I heard & so did my friend. read more

Not bad. The people here try to do a good job. It's just so darn big, there are no real experts available. This is a chain, the hardware and home building equivalent of McDonald's. You know what you're looking at when you come here. There's a huge variety of each item. So if you're buying a fan to cool your living room, there may be 25 different fans, nit even counting ceiling fans. Their lighting section is pretty impressive, as is the lawn and garden section. But if you value lical, one on one expertise and shopping, it's not here. Prices are fairly good, however. read more

I went there on a Sunday evening, found what I needed with out too much trouble that I will give them and service in the store has been good for the most part , but if you need to go out in the yard forget it, employees standing around will not offer any help fork lifts caring things 5 feet off the ground blocking paths and drives, even honked my horn to get someone to move the fork lift but no one came very dark had no idea where to find anything as well. At one time the gate person would have told you the area to go to but not any more FIND IT YOUR SELF! is the attitude it seems. with this type level of service I will drive the extra 80 miles to Des Moines and shop art LOEWS from now on. read more

Went in to pick up order. Sherry told me had to wait till she was ready to wait on me. This took approximately 20 minute. Then said order right there. She said stop talking to her. Then said be another hour before she find someone to load it. She just looked at me said told do things on my time. Wait on you feel like it. Poor customer service. read more

The selection is good for most things you'd need for home repair and a maintenance but the return policy seems a bit messed up. For one they have a machine that will supposedly locate your receipt if you lose it however I tried to return something and the machine did not locate my receipt. Maybe it's just a box with an old pc in it or something but yeah they could not locate my purchase by my card. Then when they offered store credit it was.....and I kid you not, for 1 cent. It was for some deck wash and they said it was probably some deal that I forgot about. Well I said forget it just keep the deck wash and went home. About a week later that receipt turned up and no the deck wash was not a promotional item and it cost me about 5 bucks. So while the selection is good don't put a lot of faith in their return policy. read more
