I'm definitely not happy with this company. we pay extra money for the convenience of online ordering and picking up in the yard our order. today I went to get my order and the gentleman that worked brought my order out in a forklift when I asked him to please just put it in the back of my SUV he stated I don't open doors and I said what and he said again I don't open doors and I said what do you mean you don't open doors he said I don't open doors because I damaged them. I said well then this is for convenience you know that's why we pay for these online ordering so we don't have to get out of our car in the rain snow cold whatever the reason is so you're telling me that I have to get out of the car to open up my hatchback. I said well I will ask for you anymore I will get somebody else to bring my order out and he said well somebody else was supposed to do it anyway. I went inside the building I spoke to Dominic which is a supervisor and he basically defended the guy well yeah no he says that's why I hate online orders well that's a real bad thing to say first of all and then he proceeded to say yeah you know sometimes they open them sometimes they don't I'm like well what's your policy anyway I got tired of listening to him so I asked for his supervisor and then I said you know what just forget it I'll call corporate. as I was calling corporate Amanda came out the GM she basically could not give me a straight answer either what their policy was why they couldn't open up the hatchback or the trunk or whatever it's just you know it opens with the little button underneath and she basically did not give me a good answer either and I asked her point blank what is your policy she didn't know what her policy was other than that some people open up the trunk some people don't or the hatch so I'm like okay if I come back here am I going to have a problem getting my SUV hatched open and she basically said no ma'am that was a weird weird experience. I will go to Lowe's but I am going to call corporate on the next business day. read more

Terrible hr manager do not get a job here. applied for an internship got an interview offer and then the manager proceeded to cancel my interviews and go with a different candidate before even giving me a chance to interview. I have 6 years experience working on remodels. read more

Had the absolute WORST experience at the Jefferson City Missouri store today. The guy at the gate was not only Rude but also arragent. When I asked to speak to a manager and she arrived she seemed to not even be interested or care in the least. I spent 1000 dollars to much there today. The wood was crappy and loaded that myself, the skid of moisture and mold proof drywall that was loaded for us but 2 of the pieces were so torn up by the loader that I can not use it. The service was not good at all today. I will be spending my money elsewhere as I remodel my house. I went there today but never again and will recommend to everyone I know they spend their money somewhere else. Wish I could give this a negative 5 stars but that option is not here read more

Needed a door so I called to Inquire after being transferred And on hold several times several minutes I was told to order online of which I did and received the wrong door had to go in to be ignored and sent from front to back to exchange and get another door plus pay restocking fee it took 2 1/2 hours. Still have to get the door and am dreading even going. I feel managers need to be more out front instead of hiding and making people wait or educate the employees to be more attentive instead of ignoring your bread and butter. From the moment that I walk in the door I am greeted with a hello welcome. Friendly staff, helpful and courteous. I needed some carpet cut and the the flooring staff was so helpful. They helped with all my questions and carpet needs. read more

I wished all the workers would show some wow service and offer to help. I bought 15 quarter round 12 ft base boards had to wrap them myself was only shown where to find the wrap (by 1 of 3 guys in the back) holding up the counter. Then trying to check out balancing all of them while I pay for them only ordered to tell them the PO number. 3 workers outside then watching me walk these to my car. We have now become over staffed and lazy. read more

I am in heaven!!! I walked in just to reminisce since this was my favorite store when I lived in Kansas... omg I will never ever step foot in another Home Depot or Lowe's again!!! Clean floors and bathrooms are bonus and expected to be standard for businesses with me... this place has the cleanest of both The staff actually stopped what they were doing to ask customers if they needed help! I was a bit lost since the store is extremely large so not only did they give directions but they walk you to the area I found great deals on Method brand detergents, a home security camera, and dog leashes. There are so many other great deals to find in this land of hidden treasures. I do recommend making a list if you do not have extra time to shop. read more

I am a former Menards team member and I love shopping at Menards. It was hard not to spend my whole paycheck there were so many great deals. The Menards here in Jefferson City is picture perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful--I've been greeted by every team member and asked if I needed help. They know their departments and as usual the deals on everything from grocery to furniture and appliances can't be beat! read more

We have a large project and have made numerous purchases. We made a return, but left our receipt at home. Their process is very inefficient, time consuming and is not in any way customer friendly. The customer service clerk was not helpful. read more
