Oh the ones in JC, Lake Ozark and Columbia, this one is the middle. I like the Columbia one more, but this one does have it's good points. I think with the Jefferson City market growing, Lowes could have uped it's game here, but it didn't. I was surprised at that. It had everything most Lowes have, but it could've had more. It could been a contender. But for all Jefferson City hardware stores, it's a very nice place.

We were in Jefferson City for a meeting that my Uncle, who is quadriplegic, needed to attend. The…read morehotel we were staying at did not have beds high enough to get his lift under to get him in and out of bed. Meeks was the closest place nearby so we stopped in to buy some wood to make additions to the plastic bed risers my uncle purchased ( the bed was still too low with the risers). We had no tools or supplies to fix the issue. The gentlemen, Nate and Barry, along with the young lady working with them, were super nice. Nate went to the back and cut some wood blocks and even took the time to nail them together for us. They would not allow us to pay because they said the wood was just scraps. My husband tried to give them money but they refused. Once back at the hotel, the blocks worked GREAT!!! Thank you so much Nate, Barry, and young lady for your kindness and generosity!! Any time we are in Jefferson City and need any building supplies....we will NOT HESITATE to go to Meeks!!! God Bless!!!
