My guest had already waited around all afternoon but were really nice and agreed to be there at 11:00. They had personal belongings and wanted to be present. Hours after the scheduled time he still didn't arrive. They contacted me upset and I called again. This time he said he was on his way 25 minutes. He still didn't show up again or call even though he said he was on his way! When I called him he said he had an emergency electrical issue that bumped my dryer repair. I was angry but didn't curse, so give me some credit here. I'm also not so selfish that I wouldn't want a true emergency to bump my scheduled work, but for heavens sake, call of text! Takes a second. He acted like I was an awful person for being upset that my minor repair was bumped by a life threatening emergency. He did finally arrive as the guest were leaving and they declined to allow entrance while they were not there. Can you blame them? They already wasted several days of their vacation. I could not reach him again until the next afternoon. He indicated he wasn't coming, as we were "not a good fit". I'm sure that was a true statement, as I pride myself on professional customer service and support. Things happen but no call, no show is so disrespectful and unprofessional. One strike should have been enough in this case, but three times is a for sure out. After checking it out, he proceeded to WINCH, yes I said WINCH that commercial brute out of his van and went to work. The crap he pulled out of that 4 inch main. Socks, other parts of clothing and the main culprit 30 years of degrated coins, that had fused together I imagined the pipe to be like an 85 year old man's arteries that ate bacon for 83 of those years. By the time he was done it was free flowing and looking good. Great guy, very fair price and made sure it was clear running it through couple times. Great job, would recommend this guy anytime. Clearly takes his time to do it right.
