This place is awesome. Everything is made to order and the food is really fresh, local and good!! I'm on the whole 30 so I can't have dairy I had asked for no cheese and they put cheese on it! It wasn't a big deal I figured I'd just take it off. When I couldn't take it off they just went ahead and made me another one even though it was 10 minutes until close! They had asked at first but I denied having them make me a new one but I'm glad they did! It was amazing soo good and juicy one of the best lettuce burgers I've ever had! My boyfriends burger looked amazing with all the trimmings! He also got a slice of gooey butter cake which looked to die for! I will definitely be back nice employees and local food! read more

Went to eat here with the family after purchasing a Living Social coupon for them. The menu looked interesting so we gave it a go. The food was good, portions large. My only complaint on the actual food itself was the brown sugar on the fries. I personally do not like sugar on things that are supposed to be savory, but again, personal preference. There are no 'kid's meal' options so I ordered regular portions of the chicken tenders for them and it was a HUGE waste. If you're taking kiddos, buy one meal and split it or plan to have the leftovers for lunch the next day. Also note there are no highchairs for the little ones. We will return, but probably for takeout for my husband and I, as I don't see this as kid friendly. We spent some time speaking with the owner and he was very nice and answered all of our questions. read more

Yummy flavor combinations and so refreshing to have hamburgers actually cooked to order! I had the Hwy 64 sliders and loved the combo of the sweet tomato and fig jam countered with the spicy chipotle aioli and chorizo. Hubby had the Smoke Cheeseburger and declared it one of the best he'd eaten - and he's not easily impressed. We shared the Mojo fries and just couldn't stop eating them. What a treat! The young lady at the counter was so friendly and we enjoyed discussing some upcoming menu items. Can't wait to try more and if they have that meatball item we got to sample - Heavens!!! read more

Their food truck comes to my work all the time and I love it. I finally had the opportunity to check out their real restaurant and it did not disappoint! The burgers and fries are amazing, and the service is second to none. I had the burger with pimento cheese and candied bacon... I can't wait to go back and have it again! Hands down the best burger I've had in the Memphis area! read more

wow the burgers we're so good and the combinations of ingredients just mixes perfectly. I got the smoke burger and the man got bluff city burger and they were both fantastic. I also got a side of the apricot tomato bacon jam and can we just say yum. I could eat the jam just by it's self. Oh and the guys working were super nice and very helpful read more

Very tasty burger, the fries looked very seasoning, however they still need a little salt. But I dip them in the BBQ sauce that was on my burger and man that was awesome. read more

I've been looking for a great burger and finally found it! You must try the bacon pimento burger. I initially pulled into a Sonic parking spot but before ordering decided to look on Yelp and go local. Glad I did and will be back. read more

Love this place. Super friendly staff and great food. A little pricey but it is a local eat so for that ill be willing to spend an extra dollar or two. I always get the chicken sliders they are always juicy and cooked perfectly. read more

I hate to give a newer business a low score, but maybe it'll help someone. My wife and I tried Mojo's Saturday night after reading the reviews. We both were disappointed. The burgers were dry and way too expensive. Two burgers, 1 fry, 1 drink was $25. I left hungry and stopped at Sonic. The service was friendly and prompt. We won't be back. read more

Thanks to Yelp, we headed the 3 miles off hwy 40 to the best burgers we have ever had. I had the smoked burger, and the husband had the ultimate. Truly the tastiest and most flavorful burgers we've had. We wanted the onion rings or tots that were written about here in the reviews, but decided to save calories and both ordered the green side salad instead. It was actually a really decent, very tasty green salad with different added elements. Not a hint of iceberg lettuce about it--Thank you Mojo. Perfectly clean table, spotless and recently cleaned restrooms, and efficient, friendly service. After leaving, it was at least an hour before my husband and I stopped talking about how great our burgers were and how soon we could travel back again. Mojo is absolutely worth that 3 miles off Hwy 40.! read more

We had some great mojo tots here. The service was fast and friendly. Here is why I am only giving it 3 stars. The burgers were supposed to be cooked between medium and medium well, per the nice lady who took the orders. The burgers that we got were well down and bordering on burnt. I plan to visit again and I hope to be able to raise my rating. There was so much potential here for an outstanding burger. read more

I blew my diet for this place and it was totally worth it. We had the candied bacon, mojo fries, sliders, smoked burger, and kids grilled cheese and everyone loved everything they had. Also, the young lady working the register was super nice and very helpful. We'll be back. read more

Best burger in the Memphis area! Seasoned fries & tots are also delicious and they give you plenty!

Stopped by for a quick bite on our cross country drive to NY. The lady at that took our order was very welcoming and helpful. Good was great! We had a small dog in car , and it was extremely hot that day. The owner let us have the dog inside! Thanks so much . read more

I'm slowly eating my way through the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. I feel bad that they have signs in the restaurant asking you to snap a pic and leave a review. My food gets devoured too fast definitely recommend read more

The best burger I've had in memphis. Ordered the smoked cheese burger. I'm a big bacon fan and the candied bacon really adds flavor. Burger is cooked to perfection and it's not overcooked and too dry. read more

YAAAAAAAS. The Mojo fries are a must try! My husband and I just split them as our side. I had a mushroom Swiss burger, and it was very good, although a little heavy on the special sauce. My husband had the sliders and was very skeptical about the tomato-chipotle sauce and he asked for it on the side. What's funny is he didn't like it on the side, but he said it was very good on the sliders. The art work on the wall is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. Would like a printed menu option so people don't have to wait on me (and the menu is way more extensive than online). We shall return! read more

this place is awesome enough to remove me from lurker status (never posting) to spread the word of its awesomeness! eat here, you'll be happier. read more

Memphis Mojo Cafe - menu - Cafes Near Me - Bartlett, Tennessee

I placed a Togo order through yelp for a burger, fries and corn nuggets. I received my confirmation email and drove 15 minutes to get my food for them to tell me that grub hub was supposed to contact me and tell me that they didn't have the donut for my burger or the corn nuggets they didn't call and neither did the restaurant so by now most of the places I could have gotten food from are about to close and this is my FIRST IMPRESSION of this place. It's so disappointing because they have such great reviews, I was really looking forward to trying the food. If you place a Togo order call to make sure they have what you want.. read more

Cute and cozy spot. Owner is friendly. Service is quick. Fries are to die for and the burgers are unbelievable...if you have a burger and fries, you'll be stuffed but you must, I repeat, YOU MUST take Elvis Dippers to go! read more

My teenager found this place on Yelp and we thought we'd try it out rather than all the same-old chains. IT WAS SO GOOD!!!! The burgers are huge and there are so many to pick from- they all looked awesome! I had one with candied bacon and some kind of yummy cheese sauce, and my son had a huge double burger that he could not even finish. The fried pickles were also great! We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Memphis! read more

Excellent burgers! They grind up an incredibly tender brisket (brisket y'all!) and serve it up with some of their proprietary Mojo Sauce, which is sweet and smoky. I had their smoked gouda burger, and it was heaven on a bun. Make sure you get napkins though, because this thing makes a mess! read more

So the girl at the front counter (sorry I didn't catch your name) said she was new. Well I couldn't tell! Her customer service was management level good! Interacting with all the guest at the door to make them feel welcome. Asking if it was our first time and where we were coming from. Explaining menu items and gave recommendations. Offered a variety of sauces to try. To top it all of she kept checking back with us at our table to make sure we didn't need anything! You made our night and we greatly appreciated your kindness while passing through Tennessee. The burger was probably the best burger my wife and I have ever had and also loved your sweet tea. Thanks again! read more

Today my fiancee had a veggie burger with seasoned fries & I had the bacon burger with sweet potatoe fries. She stated that the veggie burger was the best she's ever had. The burger I had was a 10/10 for sure. The only down side is that we forgot to get a brownie. This was our first time visiting but it won't be our last. read more

I really enjoyed the sliders here, will definitely be back to eat here again... It was a great experience and thank you guys for that! See y'all soon and keep up the good work! read more

I score the place at a 4.5 stars but can't do that here. I had the smoke burger with fries and tea. The only thing that was not great was the tea-over brewed or old. The burger was juicy and the topping tasted fresh and were in great combination. The fries had a slight crunch and were seasoned but not overly salty. Nice meal- I will definitely return. read more

I loooooooove Mojo burger! I have recommended this place to so many folks and each time I've been thanked the next time they see me.

Mojo café is really good. I had the burger with bacon and cooked onions. I would have given a 5 star but I think the price is $2 to much. They do grind their own meat and it is serve fresh everyday. Bacon is really good for the those who love bacon it is a must try. I wish I could have bought and tried everything but $9 for just a burger was a little out there. $3 more I could have fries and a drink. Not that I didn't have the money I never paid that much for a combo in my life and its hard to break old habits. I will be back but it wont be any time soon. read more

one of my favorite places in Memphis. The Blt is my favorite. My son loves the chicken fingers and the chalkboard wall. I've been here frequently with my family and it's always great. read more

Really yummy food! Was surprised at how delicious everything was. Great service, clean, and convenient location/ parking! Only complaint was that it was a little pricey- but quality and taste was worth it. Make sure to try the sweet potato chips! read more

If you come to Memphis, or you live in Memphis, and you like burgers you can't do better than the Mojo Café. I have a simple test to determine whether the burger meat is any good at a restaurant. Order a burger medium rare (whether you like it that way or not). If it actually comes medium rare that means the restaurant has absolute confidence in their meat. If it doesn't you know the opposite. You can always ask the server to cook it a little more if you dont like medium rare. But the test works and the Mojo passed with flying colors. And now an insider tip. For a unique burger experience ask for the Peter burger(its not on the menu). Its a burger with swiss cheese on the top and bottom, a gourmet's delight, and if you are truly gourmet you order it medium rare. In any case, Steve will make you the best burger you want made to your specs or off their outstanding menu. You will thank me for it. read more

I cannot believe I haven't tried Memphis Mojo Cafe earlier. The service was great and the food was well prepared. Only downfall was the waiting time, but overall great restaurant. read more

Memphis Mojo Cafe - Smoked Cheeseburger and Jalapeño Burger are a must try!!!!!! - Cafes Near Me - Bartlett, Tennessee

Bacon+Burger+Doughnuts= Pure Joy. Great variety of burger choices and sides. The cashier was wonderful. She knew the menu well, made suggestions, and showed me real pics of their food from social media. She was warm and quirky. I ordered The Donut Burger with candied bacon and doughnuts to go. Next time I will probably get two. read more

Purchased the mojo hamburger and fries. The burger was good and fries were great. Just think the burger is over priced.

This place SERIOUSLY serves the VERY BEST sliders ON EARTH!!!! They grind their own meat! They apparently care about the taste of each and every thing because, I find myself there once a week now, and it is ALWAYS exactly as expected...so yummy that words are just not enough. Yes, it takes a little bit longer to get your meal but, c'mon, they actually cook it AFTER you ask for it. It isn't floating in liquid since that morning. It is lovingly prepared to taste like food should. Besides, it's just a second and I've gotten around that by calling ahead, ordering my sliders with the best fries in town and they are ready when I pull up. Almost too simple! So long, Krystal! I'll never eat that mystery meat again! So long, McDonalds...whatever that stuff is! I do not hesitate to give my highest recommendation to Memphis Mojo's. Great job and please please please keep up the good work!!!!!!! read more

By far one of my FAVORITE burger joints. Came all the way from Little Rock, AR just to eat here. I ate the Mojo burger and it was made with perfection. Don't even get me started about the fries... seasoned PERFECTLY!! Not too much and not too bland just the way I love it. I would strongly recommend this place to all my friends. Customer service was great and the food is A1. read more

Disclaimer: I'm not from Memphis so I can't compare it to anything in the area, but it is a great, friendly place. If I lived in the area, I have no doubt I'd be a regular. i came in with my mother maybe 20 minutes before closing and ordered takeout. The food was definitely good, and I expect that it's even better fresh. Items like fries don't hold up too well with a long drive, but everything still tasted good. I put what we ordered at the end. The service was amazing!! Right upon entering, the woman at the register, Mandy, was extremely friendly and helpful. While I stepped outside for a bit, Mandy even came over to have a short conversation with my mother. Unfortunately, I didn't personally get to speak to her very much, but she along with the other workers seemed like genuinely good people. Next time I'm in Memphis, I'll definitely come around to try Memphis Mojo again :). We ordered the following: Smokehouse Burger - The patty itself was pretty good. What really made the burger different was the caramelized onoins and candied bacon. It gives the burger a bit of a salty and sweet taste to it, which I loved. Chik Sammie - Tried this one by their suggestion, and the avocado ranch spread is fantastic. I would definitely recommend this if you want something different from a burger. "Mojo" Fries - The gravy was pretty tasty and unique compared to other gravy I've tried. Because of the long drive, the fries were a little soggy. However, I'm pretty sure they'd be awesome if I got to try it fresh. "Elvis" Dippers - I think the batter that the Dippers were fried in were a bit much for me, but I can see how other people would like it a lot. read more

Very tasty burger and O rings. BLT was excellent as well. Only negative is it is a little above average cost

This place is awesome!!! The staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in. It was my first time here and they went over to menu with me (in detail) as well as making some fantastic suggestions. The seasoned tator tots are great and I had the smoked burger with Gouda. It has carmalized onions in it and the burger was really tender and cooked to perfection. I would definitely go back again and I highly recommend anyone in the Memphis area to check out this spot! read more
