I tried the 6 oz cheeseburger 8.00$. Added fries and a drink for 3.00$ more. Could not eat it all. Burger was juice and fries were seasoned. Should mention all burgers are cook medium to medium well unless other wise told. I would have given a 5 star rating except I think the price is just a little high considering other competitors with similar burgers. read more

Mojo is one of my absolute favorite places to get burgers. I almost always get the Smoke Burger, because it is delicious (smoked gouda, candied bacon, and chipotle aioli, mmm), but I'm also partial to the Hwy 64 Sliders. The tots, fries, and sweet potato fries (really more like soft chips) are all deeeeelicious. I frequent both the restaurant and the food truck (it's often at the food truck park) and I am always incredibly happy when I leave. A tip, too, for your eats: get a side of the chipotle aioli to dip your fries or tots in. You won't be sorry. read more

If you want one of the best hamburgers in the country, here ya go! :) great dining, good service, and an all around Memphis experience.

This is my favorite burger place in Memphis. Tasty burger creations with amazing sweet potato fries. I come hungry and leave stuffed. Oh, if you want desserts, they've got them but I had to take part of a burger home to have room to eat one. My daughter loves it and I've taken several out of town guests to rave reviews. The staff are super helpful and really know the menu. read more

Best hamburger I have ever eaten. Hands down. Juicy, fantastic flavor. Price was great too. Seasoned fries were crispy with a great blend of sweet and salt. BUT, first we had the fried pickles and let me sAy, they were awesome. The owner was very attentive and friendly to all the customers and the staff was great. I will definitely be back and encourage anyone looking for a hell of a burger to try this local gem. read more

Wow! This place has amazing food. I had the meatloaf sliders and fries. The sliders were so tasty with a nice kick. Highly recommend. I don't know what they put on the fries but they're delicious! There aren't a whole lot of places with an original menu like this out in Bartlett. One of my new favorite places!!! read more

Yum! Tonight was our first time eating here, but it won't be our last! I had the Chef Steph's Sliders, and D had the Smoke on the Burger. They were both delicious! The burgers were cooked just right, and the mix of beef and chorizo on the sliders was perfect, and really added a delicious spice. They were out of the chorizo gravy (ugh... I was really looking forward to trying those Mojo Fries!!), so we just had regular fries. They were really good-the seasoning was delicious, and the fries themselves were crispy and hot-just what you look for in fries. The owner was there, and came out to check on us, which was a really nice touch! The counter staff seemed a little distracted, but was friendly, and I really hated that they were out of the chorizo gravy! Only a couple small things keeping this from being a five-star review, but we will definitely give it another shot!! read more

I had heard great things about Mojo from a Yelp event here last year. We were in the Bartlett area, so after a glance at the menu, we stopped in for dinner. I ordered the portobello sandwich and the spouse got a chicken sandwich and some tater tot appetizers. Once we paid at the counter the cook told us there were no portobellos. I said, "whatever you can make me vegetarian is fine." The tater tots came out and we enjoyed them for a bit, but I think they are fried in something heavy as we were quickly weighed down with grease. There was also some chorizo mash? on top that was very dense. The spouse liked his chicken sandwich, and my mushroom sandwich was fine, but definitely not worthy of $8. No beer, etc. not a fan. read more

They have the best burgers ever.. I go there way too much but it is so damn good!! They have many options to choose from and make my whole family happy! My kid is picky but loves the sliders!! Best. Burger. Ever. read more

great burger. local joint. reasonably priced. good fries. i come by with [friends] every once in a while.

We've been in to Mojo 4 times now and have very little to complain about. The smoke burger was quite good, but we did have a HEAVILY candied piece of bacon which completely overwhelmed the sandwich with sweetness. Unfortunately they don't offer regular bacon so we just get it without. I would like to see the rest of the toppings included (lettuce, tomato, onion, and mushrooms are all priced extra) as the burger is not super cheap but the meat is quite tasty and has been cooked well each and every time. The funky chicken sliders were good to split but could have benefited from more of the homemade slaw and a whole lot LESS of the season salt that they also dowse the fries in. It's a bit overwhelming. Another friend came in and tried the shrimp poboy and really liked it. I didn't get a chance to steal a bite but she pointed out that the breading wasn't too heavy and the shrimp were properly cooked. The woman always behind the counter (presumed owner?) is incredibly friendly and remembers our orders. They are always willing to let us split something up or maneuver for a better deal (splitting fries as opposed to the combo gets you more bang for your buck if you don't want the drink). Don't forget to get some of the chipotle mayo to add to your burger and mix a bit with ketchup for a nice addition to your fries. A nice little find in Bartlett. read more

There was a Groupon yesterday, so we tried it tonight and glad we did. Super friendly staff and great food fast. Mostly sandwiches. We had the Chef Stephs Sliders that were really tasty and just the right amount of sweet and hot. My husband got the meatloaf sliders and they were also tasty. Very unusual menu so we will be back to try the other sandwiches soon. read more

Having read the great reviews, I decided on Friday night to try one of Mojo's hamburgers. At 8:45p I called Mojo to ask about how long of a wait they were experiencing. The girl that answered told me that the place was not crowded, in fact it was empty. Since we were only 5 minutes away, my wife and myself drove over. We arrived at the restaurant at 8:55p and found the door locked. Then we noticed on the door , the closing time was 9p (which the girl on the phone did not mention) which was still 5 minutes away. The 4 members of the staff were obviously cleaning up for the night. They did not even have the common courtesy to recognize us and tell us the kitchen was already closed for the night. In stead, they did the "lets ignore the customers at the door so we can get out early" thing. I am sure that in the future they learn that customer service is just as important as good food. Otherwise they will not survive in this highly competitive food industry. As for that night, we went to Steak & Shake where we had an excellent hamburgers and great service. read more

I'm in love with this place. I had the grilled cheese for grown ups (it has slaw on it)! It was delicious. The staff was friendly and made great recommendations on the food. read more

This is probably one of the best burgers in Memphis! The burgers are exceptionally flavorful, the portions are quite generous; the prices are reasonable, they get creative with their menu items, and their desserts are amazing! Trust me, you need to try this spot! read more

I went to this place on the review of Joelle P. I tried the smoke burger & mojo fries..... OMG this was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. Those fries I could not finish, but they were so good that I talked about them for two days. Memphis Mojo cafe truly needs to open another location. The driver from Collierville to Bartlett is no joke. Just so happen I was in the area. I will take my wife & kid back to experience their great food. Just talking about it makes me want to tell y'all about that gravy on those Gouda covered fries. Anyway this place is small during lunch time, other than that it is a must try. Thanks Joelle P. For the review. read more

The food was good. Some of the items were spicy like the trio sandwich but overall really good.

Mono burgers are so good. We ordered & went out toward the Airport to watch the planes so when we made it , our fries cooled a bit but those burgers were still hot. However they make them is amazing. Whatever seasons they use on the fries is so good. We will be back. Pricey but so well worth it. read more

First time visiting this cafe. You place your order at the counter and you can choose to dine in or takeout. I went during lunchtime which was busy but my food came out relatively quick and it was hot. I had polite service while dining in and the food was good. I ordered the fish tacos and seasoned fries (which were a bit on the salty side) but overall it was delicious! read more

Cute place, friendly staff. Everything was well cooked, but for my taste it was all overly sweet. I dont know if they put cinnamon in their seasoning or what but it all kind of became too much for me. Could not taste chorizo in the gravy for the mojo fries. So if you dont like sweet stuff, you might wanna try somewhere else. read more

Driving through on our way back to Dallas stopped in for a quick lunch. Staff was very friendly. Service was quick and great. Good was awesome. The candied bacon blt was delicious and full of flavor. The hwy 64 sliders were awesome. We ended with the Elvis dippers and loved that they had great flavor. read more

LOVVVVEDDD the food! Got the bbq chicken sliders & tried a bite of the grilled cheese and both were superb. We split a couple desserts that were honestly the best I've ever had. Will be back just to satisfy my sweet tooth. They were the Elvis(?) deep-fried banana/peanut butter type concoction and the Mud Pie. Not a light meal, but so worth it. Also, the lady at the counter was super friendly and kept checking on us to see if we liked everything. Recommend x's a million! read more

One of the best burgers in town!!! The patties have a delicious seasoning and the buns compliment the burger!!! The staff has always been friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Unbelievable burger!!!!!!! Absolutely amazing. Better than any hueys or five guys by a long shot. The burger has a sweet, but savory taste all in one. Fries are pretty good as well. I highly recommend this place for any and all who want to have a delicious burger in Memphis. read more

What a fun, local place to grab a burger and tots. Not a huge menu, but several burgers, sliders, and sandwich options to choose from. You can also choose fries, seasoned tots, onion rings, and I think there were sweet potato fries as well, or maybe it was seasoned fries... I had wanted to try one of their beef burgers sliders, but they were out. So I had the cajun chicken sliders instead. They were good. Nicely spiced and served on a bun with coleslaw to balance the flavors. I also added the candied bacon and YUM. The tater tots were hot and tasty. The people working were so friendly and obviously enjoy being a part of this business, which just makes the experience even better. I'll definitely try to make it back on Tuesday, when they do two dollar sliders, so you can try all the varieties. read more

Best little hidden gem in Bartlett, Tn. Awesome service and food. I've had the sliders & the Smoke on the Burger - burger. Loved them all. The gravy on the fries is my favorite. Desserts are a different option than other restaurants & a must! No liqour license yet BUT it's BYOB with no cork fee or set up fee. Ann is the best server in town. read more

I really enjoy trying independent local restaurants because they can be so different and interesting. Memphis Mojo Cafe definitely fits that mold. The ingredients and locally sourced and the beef is ground in house. The difference is clear on the burger. The quality was excellent, though the spicing was bland. My wife's words: 'your burger is better.' Her sweet potato fries were awesome. I had the catfish. Really really good, and the onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. The best part of the meal was the Elvis dippers dessert: deep fried nutter butter cookies with a banana cream dip. I would like to give This place 3 1/2 stars but gave it a 3 because MMC is a burger joint and our burger was only so-so. We'll try them again however, the menu is creative enough for us to come back read more

Cute sandwich shop, attentive staff, interesting and tasty menu choices. Smoked burger is very good with Gouda and candied bacon on top. The blacken chicken sandwich was also tasty. Seasoned French fries were excellent. Clean and fresh. We want to come back for the many interesting desserts sometime too! Looking great. read more

I would usually give this place a good review but inaccuracy of our order resulted in being shorted food. When brought to their attention, ahh well. Then started typing on Yelp, we can give you some extra fries........ It'll be a while before I will be back. They have since rectified our dilemma and we are now on one accord. read more

Great place the employees are very nice and the food is amazing I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone

Just ate here with my husband, brother and sister in law, and mother in law. I had the smoked cheese burger and sweet potato fries. My nephew and sister in law did as well and we all agreed that it was one of the best burgers we've ever had. The combination of flavors was SO good. And although the burger was big, I ate the whole thing. It was just too good to put down. We found this place on yelp, based on the other reviews and were glad we did. Too bad we were just passing through town though. I'm going to dream about that burger for the rest of my pregnancy ;) read more

Definitely give this a try!! Me and my little family tried this after church and we extremely enjoyed it. We ordered an appetizer, two burger combos and a kids meal total was a little pricey 40$ but it was worth our money!!! Our ordered came out SUPER FAST wasn't expecting that at all maximum was 10 mins we waited or less of course we did get our appetizer before that! Everything was hot and fresh and JUICY , the only thing I would do next time is ask for light seasoning on my fries but it's still good to try it !!!! My son enjoyed his grilled cheese , the one thing I definitely give props on this place is they don't forget about you after they give you the meal, they come and ask how's everything if we needed anything ! I loved that read more

110% amazing! Stopped in for dinner and got the smoked burger, holy crap! Gouda+sauteed onions+candied bacon+chipotle Aoli=freaking awesome! Had some of the Mojo gravy, which is to die for. Travel a lot for work, so Yelp is my "go to" when I'm outta town. Very good & even served on a lettuce instead of a bun!

Blackened Chicken Sliders with Blueberry compote, take my breath away!!! Best, flavored chicken I've ever had...

Amazing staff and food. I had the smoked burger and hubby had the double. We shared the signAture tater tots, all I can say is wow. Everything was perfectly balanced. Right amount of sweet and spicy. We have done the midtown and downtown burger joints but this place stands above the rest. It was all perfectly cooked. I can't explain it. Hubby went and shook the chef's hand and told him best burger he's ever had. We love burgers and since moving to Memphis from Dallas we've been searching for that place, this beats our Dallas places. Everything on the burgers were right, they were perfection and hubby can be picky. The taters, usually I hate taters because they are soggy on the inside, not these. Perfect crispness all the way through. Also, we got there just before closing and they were cool, chatted us up and we ate. Amazing. Our new treat read more

I went here because of a referral from friends. The food was great. The chef was obnoxious though. I left thinking I'd never go back because of him. Chef (ugh) has since left, the food is still amazing, and I will continue to give them my business, despite his attempts to smear the current owners and send everyone to go to his new place. No, I'm not affiliated with anyone there. But his actions were so over the top, self-absorbed and egotistical that I refuse to willingly do business with someone like that. The food? Amazing. Candied bacon? Freakin phenomenal. They even rocked a BLT! The sliders are wonderful. Everything is cooked well, excellent flavors. read more
