The food is always so good! The grilled onions and chiles are always cooked to perfection. The staff is always kind. The best tacos I have had in Sacramento.

Memos taco truck is very reliable for being in this spot everyday at gerber and reese rd in south Sacramento. They serve tortas, tacos, burritos and quesadillas. I have tried the asada regular and super burrtio. Im not a fan of lettuce in my burritos so if you order the super remember to say NO lettuce. I also tried the carnitas taco. The burritos are ok, a bit smaller than most places i have been, but there a bit cheaper as wel, so it kinda evens out. The 1st time the burrito was ok, the rice had some color/seasonings to it but the asada was bland.. the second time around it was still bland but the rice was mostly white and no taste. While it looked good the burrito lacking taste, i could pretty much taste the sour cream and cheese and i still got lettuce.. but I picked it out, no biggy. The carnitas taco was good. I did like that, they have the side salsa bar where you can put on all your own fixings like cilantro, onion, radishes, red or green salsa and lime wedges. The truck is cool and clean looking. The drinks, chips and snacks are well kept. If you want to add sour cream or cheese to tacos it .50 ea extra. They do accept visa/master card and accepted through the square reader. Its not to bad of a truck for a quick bite, still better than the bell, just not sure if I will get burritos anymore. Next time probably see how the other meats for tacos will be. Ok went back and tried tacos, adobado was ok, bit greasy but flavor was good. Asada still ok bit bland, and carnitas was really good flavor but bit into a piece of bone. :(

He doesn't put the onions or cilantro, I just went all crazy with condiment bar.

Wow!! I'm very impressed!! I ordered beef, chicken, carnitas and abodada tacos and man were they delicious; especially the chicken. All meats were soft and juicy and no he's didn't serve you mince piece of meat either. He gives you chunks of chicken and pork and he lays them all pretty for you to grab and eat. Whenever I need a fix, I will surely make the drive to come eat here. So far, best taco truck in the area.

    Tacos ! Soooo bomb & juicy !

They fill the burritos up with meat, most places make it mostly rice and beans. Good amount of crema there too.

I had 3 street tacos, and I'd recommend the lengua and the shrimp. The lengua was succulent and plentiful. The shrimp had great flavor and some yummy char. Each taco had a generous amount of meat, was well-prepared, and tasted fresh. The real game changer, though, was adding the jalapeño cream sauce along with a few salsas from the salsa bar which took the tacos to another level. If I could, I'd give this place 6 stars just for that! Also, I'd recommend the cucumber lime agua fresca drink. It tasted refreshing and the perfect amount of each flavor. Their menu has a great variety of options, and I noticed several people ordering the dinner plates, which looked absolutely massive. I also saw them bring out a sizzling hot skillet that I could hear from a few tables down. You definitely get your money's worth here. The service was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly fast. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the salsa bar was fresh, organized, and full of appetizing choices. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

We finally had time off again on a Sunday to come and enjoy thier yummy Sunday Brunch…read more Everything tasted amazing! Wish I could eat more I would of tried more dishes. Last time we were there I thought I was able to get just plain tortillas from the tortillas lady spot. But she looked confused then I asked for a few flour tortillas. She asked what meat I wanted to make street tacos. That's fine the pork tasted very good. But I like plain tortillas with the eggs and other dishes. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I guess next time we will ask the server. We started with the omelets this time. Very good and well made. We tried many things, hard to take pictures. It was very busy and carrying a plate didn't work well when taking pictures.

The portions have been cut in 1/2 for a lot of menu items here over the last 5 years namely the chimichangas but seems like everything else too. The chimichangas used to be twice the size they are now and were loaded with cheese. Now they have no cheese and 1/2 the filling so there mostly flour tortilla now. Very disappointing and the plates they use now are smaller, they used to serve the food on these huge platters. Anyway went there last night (1st time in 3 years) and this is the plate I got. The 2 chimichangas are now the same size as the tamale on the other side of the plate. The service was terrible too. We did not get our food until almost an hour and by the time the food showed up we were full from the chips and bean dip and salsa wich by the way we had to wave them down several times as we seemed invisible to refill the chips and our drinks. We wont be going back again for probably another 3 years. I highly recommend Felipe's in Citrus heights on Auburn blvd. Way better value and the food quality is on par with el tapatio but with five star service!

The restaurant had great energy and a fun, buzzy atmosphere. The crowd was a lively mix of people from the Capitol, couples enjoying date night and moviegoers grabbing dinner before or after a show. Unfortunately, the service was lacking during our visit. One of our meals was forgotten and we had to flag down the server to let him know. Our server also wasn't around very often, so it was difficult to get refills or ask for anything we needed. When we requested a specific number of to-go boxes, we weren't given enough and had to get up and ask for additional boxes ourselves. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but I took away 1 star for the lack of service. The service could definitely use some improvement, especially since it wasn't busy when we went. With more attentive service, this could have been a much better dining experience.

It's always been a busy place and sometimes hard to get into before a show, but the service was always great. This time we sat outside, which actually had a really nice view of the Golden 1 entrance. Our waiter was really nice and courteous, but it was pretty obvious he was doing the job of about three people. He did the best he could and stayed friendly the whole time, but when you're spread that thin it's hard to stay on top of drinks, food coming out, checking on tables, etc. We didn't really hold that against him because it seemed much more like a staffing issue than anything he was doing wrong. One of the things I've always liked about Polanco is their carafe of Palomas. We ordered one at the bar and then another at the table. When we got the bill, we noticed an extra charge for four cups. After looking at it again, we realized that after paying $48 for a carafe, you're also being charged for the cups you drink it out of. That is honestly one of the most ridiculous charges I've ever seen at a restaurant. I've always really liked this place, so it was disappointing. Being short staffed is one thing, but that's a management issue, not the waiter's fault. Charging people extra for cups after they just bought a $48 carafe of cocktails is just wild. This review does not refer to their food, ambiance, decor or staff. Unfortunately this has to do with under staffing (managing issue) and now charging for CUPS
