Love this store, pc parts to buy everywhere! Anything PC equipment related including controllers. Sales people are pretty knowledgeable. Before going try looking up their daily sales. Parking is very spacious. However games are not sold here. Try EB Games but if your a pc user I recommend you get digital games from Steam. Would recommend this store 1st for PC related stuff before getting stuff from Bestbuy.

Dear Memory Express, I'm quite hungry. I've been waiting in your 1 line for everything line for a while now. I know you also sell tv's. Could you please pull up a tv so at least I can watch a couple of movies while I wait? For those people who don't know memory express is a great place to buy electronics in the city. Unlike the big box stores there employees actually know what they are talking about. They'll help you do put together, or find your purchases. Great knowledge levels. They're much like the Apple Store for employee knowledge. Here's where they fall down though. Unlike the Apple store it's poorly organized, dirty and severely understaffed. If you can I'd recommend buying from their ONLINE site versus going to their brick and mortar. I'm giving Memory Express 4 stars for pricing, stock and knowledge. 1 star for making me wait 20 minutes to pay for 6ft of ethernet cord. So do yourself a favor, use memory express , vs Ncix or Tigerdirect but avoid the store unless you have to get it today.

Really like this business always helpful staff and if you compare prices it's always better here also if you have problems with your computer they help you or you can bring it in to have them fix the problem . They also have a great warranty on what you buy or they fix it or replace it if within the replacement time Lots of free parking Great location right of Calgary trail I do highly recommend for computer problems Or to buy your new computer,!

The only thing that would make this store better would be to get rid of the ridiculous one-lineup-for-any-help situation.

Standard pricing for brand name computer products (including parts), knowledgeable staff, allows people to make their own computers.

What can I say: Went in expecting to drop off my computer which was all clogged up from everyone else trying to fix it when James opened it up right on the counter and began working on it.

I'm glad I did. it turns out that The Source does price matching! I love stores who do this! You are guaranteed a good price and if you do your homework, you can get the best prices out there. The staff was helpful also. I was looking for laptop speakers and they let me hook up my iPod so that I could get a sense of the quality of sound from each speaker system. That was very helpful. I also got a wireless router and they price matched it to a price I had seen it advertised at another store. I'll be going back to The Source. It was a good experience.

This is probably one of their smaller stores so the amount of stock that they can display is limited but they do manage to fit a lot into the store. I have been to one of their larger stores at Southgate Mall and I can't say that I find that many more unique items there. The staff have always been helpful and present at this location. I had an office in the mall's professional centre so I would often pop-in whether I was really shopping or just passing the time. I always enjoy checking out what new gadgets and toys they have. If you are at Bonnie Doon Mall this is probably your best option for inexpensive electronics/computer needs.

I object to reviews that are based on whether the staff are cute and dateable or not. Yes,…read moreSterling Electronics is manned by old guys who look like they're out of a nursing home. Yes, the store is junky-looking, the displays are full of obsolete parts and the only way to find what you want is to ask. Obviously, this store isn't meant for people whose life is spent staring at their smartphones. If you have old electronics that's still serviceable with some part that needs replacement, Sterling has the only game in town. I have a Sansui amplifier, strictly analogue that satisfies our needs. I really like the intuitive way this works compared to digital home theaters, for example. Unfortunately, all the dial lights and indicators are incandescent lamps (remember those) so I've had to replace them several times over the 40 years we've had this. The only place I can find some of the strange parts for my amplifier is Sterling. Hopefully, they can keep going as long as the old and obsolete equipment I love continues to work.

This shop specializes in obscure electronic parts... the only real competition in Edmonton is Electronic Connections, which has a way bigger staff. The shop does repairs on many electronic items that would normally go to the Eco Station. This shop has helped me get my guitar amps back in shape many times. Give them a call if Electronic Connections can't get what you need right away, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Never Shopping at Best Buy Again!…read more This was one of the worst online purchasing experiences I've ever dealt with, and it completely ruined what was meant to be a thoughtful Christmas gift. My sister, who lives in Chicago, attempted to purchase an item online from Best Buy's Edmonton location to be delivered to me. She entered her own billing information and my address as the shipping destination. Her credit card payment was explicitly rejected three times, and customer service later confirmed the rejection, stating it was due to the billing and shipping addresses not matching. Because of this, she abandoned the purchase and successfully ordered the same item from Walmart instead. Despite being told the payment had been rejected, Best Buy still charged her credit card anyway. When she contacted customer service, she was told I would need to refuse the delivery in order for the charge to be reversed. Over the next four days, Best Buy attempted delivery four separate times, each time insisting on a signature. I refused the delivery every single time. Over a week after the final delivery attempt, my sister checked her credit card statement and the charge still had not been refunded. Even worse, Best Buy claimed that the delivery had been "accepted," which is completely false. I would be very interested to see what proof or signature they believe they have. This situation turned what should have been a simple gift into an exhausting and frustrating ordeal. Between charging a card after a rejected payment, refusing to properly cancel the order, and falsely claiming delivery acceptance, this experience has permanently destroyed my trust in Best Buy. I will not be shopping here again, and I strongly advise others to be cautious.
