    Subject: Complaint Regarding Service and Communication…read more I am very disappointed with my recent experience at the Manning location of Best Buy / Geek Squad. On February 23, I dropped off my laptop due to login issues after an update. I explained it was tax season and I urgently needed my computer. I was told my ticket would be marked urgent and that I would receive a call with updates. I never received any communication. By Wednesday at 7:45 PM, I went into the store because I had heard nothing. There were no Geek Squad staff present. A clerk tried to locate my work order but could not find it. She said she would leave a message for Geek Squad to call me the next morning. No one called. On Thursday, after losing four days of work, I drove 30 minutes in poor weather to the store. I was told my computer had not yet been completed and, in fact, work had not begun until I arrived. I was also told a call had been made to me, which I did not receive. I was then told it would be ready at 4:00 PM that day. I returned, and it was finally completed. An assistant manager acknowledged the delay and offered a $50 gift card, which I never received. This issue is not about the amount offered -- it is about the lack of communication, accountability, and respect for my time and livelihood.     Possibly the worst experience I have ever had. I went to the Geek Squad counter. I was the only…read morecustomer at Geek Squad. Initially my Geek Squad agent attended to me and proceeded to look after the problems I was having with my laptop. He then left me sitting unattended while he proceeded to assist every other customer and ignored me completely. It was 15 minutes past the store closing time before he returned to tell me I was able to leave. I was literally the very last person in the store. When I tried to exit the store I found that I was locked in and wasn't able to get out. It was only when I began shouting that someone appeared and unlocked the door so I could exit the store. This experience makes me question why I pay a monthly fee for Geek Squad when the service I received was so unbelievably substandard and lacking entirely any element of even basic customer consideration. Dismal and disappointing treatment by Geek Squad.
