Diane is, without a doubt, the best photographer I've ever worked with! From the moment we started,…read moreshe made me feel completely comfortable, relaxed, and beautiful. She has such a special gift for bringing out your confidence and making the entire experience so much fun. I walked away feeling more confident than I have in a long time, and I absolutely love the photos she took. I can't wait to see the rest of them! Thank you so much, Diane, for making me feel so amazing. I highly recommend Diane Bartoo Photography to anyone looking for an incredible photographer and an unforgettable experience!

Do Not Hesitate!!! Book your appointment with Diane as soon as you can!!!…read more I found her on Yelp for my grandsons pictures and so glad I chose her. The home studio is small but perfect for new borns. Original we planned on indoor family shots but decided on front yard. The landscape design for her outdoor shots are incredible. We booked our appointment in mid September & although there were little to almost no blooms and the landscape was changing Diane's color choices and style were perfect. What I really liked was the affordability of her packages. Although I believe it is available for one stop shopping she doesn't require you to purchase prints. Which can take the price upwards of $2k not including the sitting fee. Her photos are not cheap by any means. Her eye for posing new borns is impeccable. The mama & daddy pics are beautiful. Her capturing the family at this special moment is a must!!! Start a Baby Photo Fund for the new mom in your family. Everyone can chip in and the new parents will love it. Capturing your newborn in the first couple weeks is a beautiful little memory that everyone should have. Trust Diane Bartoo Studio to make it happen for your new little one.

I searched high and low for someone who could take heirloom portraits for my little one. I…read morecontacted 3 photographers and Cristal was the only one that contacted me immediately through text. Heirloom portraits are more of a southern thing so I sent her inspiration pictures for reference. She said she could do it so I ended up booking her for a session. She had tons of props and outfits to choose from. We decided to go the simpler route and opted for no props with a simple white background. The session ended up being 15 minutes (she said she got THE shot). After about a week, Cristal sent me a soft proof gallery with about 75 photos to choose from. I picked my 12 and texted her feedback on the ones I wanted more/less cropped. She also nailed the vignette on the heirloom portraits; it was exactly what I was looking for! She sent me a second gallery with my 12 picks, also including them in B&W and different editing styles (34 total). Cristal had great communication, and will go above and beyond to make sure you love your pictures! I would highly recommend her if you live in the IE area. One tiny note, 4 photos have a faint line at the top. It looks like the editing filter wasn't taken all the way up. With that being said, not the end of the world and would gladly book her again.

Summer is kind, patient, professional, and extremely talented. From the minute I submitted an inquiry to the very last step of selecting the desired photos, she was helpful and organized. The photos themselves are absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to receive them. She made the entire shoot so fun and comfortable. It can always be nerve wracking especially if this is not something you're used to but I genuinely always felt relaxed with her. I'm eager to book other shoots with her in the future. Thank you Summer. You made me feel so beautiful. These are truly the best photos anyone has ever taken of me.

I honestly feel so disappointed after my experience today. Summer was very inconsiderate, rude to…read moreme and honestly very cash grabbing. I will explain. As a first-time mom, I was really excited to get my 11-month-old baby's first Easter photos taken, she advertised on Instagram that her photos would be a better alternative to mall photos. More thoughtful, higher quality, and a better overall experience for a similar price. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. When we arrived, I was holding my son and trying to ease him into the situation so he would feel comfortable sitting with the Easter Bunny. Without warning, Summer suddenly grabbed him out of my arms and said, "Here, let me just grab him," and immediately placed him on the bunny's lap. This clearly startled him, and he began crying. While I understand that some children may be scared in situations like this, abruptly taking him from me made it much worse. I believe children should be given time to warm up, especially at this age. She then quickly took only two photos while he was crying and said, "Okay, that's it. No more. He's just going to keep crying." The session was essentially over within 20 seconds, and I was left feeling uncomfortable, rushed and dismissed. I paid $45 for this, and the entire experience felt very unprofessional and transactional. As a parent, you want someone who respects boundaries, especially not grabbing your child without permission!! and who actually cares about creating a meaningful experience for a milestone like a first holiday photo. We drove 45 minutes for this session, and it was incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend booking, especially for walk-in photo sessions. Parents deserve a more patient, respectful, and thoughtful approach especially when it comes to their children. I only wish I had told her I wasn't going to pay for the horrible service. Unfortunately, I do respect a business owners time. Even though she did not put in any time or effort and it is not like there was a need to rush it too. There was no one in the lobby waiting after us.
