The result of their repair and the really friendly service is fabulous. Unlike I've seen anywhere. The price of the repair was very reasonable. Under my 10X loupe, I could not even determine where they made the repair and the addition of the gold. Of course I am not a diamond expert, but very educated in this area from having bought and sold investment grade diamonds in the past. We mainly chose this company due to the good reviews and service along with the fact we don't want our jewelry sent out to be repaired. Too many hands involved which can run into problems or worse. They fix everything in house. Also, they have some nice pieces of jewelry for sale. This is going to always be the place for us to do business.

We have gotten a few plaques here a number of other times and it was a great experience. It was done in a timely manner and the price was fair for the quality. The plaque came out very well and I was tempted to get my own plaque here hehe. But anyways I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a plaque. They also do dog tags, plaques, acrylic & glass awards, desk & office signage, name badges, coins, decorative utensils, zippo lighters, decorative flag displaces, trophies and more. They have a great selection of items to choose from and engrave. Also they add a 10% military discount as well. Who doesn't love that? Also I am all about supporting local business. They have always been very helpful to us and their work is excellent. Keep up the good work and we will be back for more business. Thanks for reading my review.

I had an extremely negative experience with Engravers of Reno due to unprofessional and hostile…read morecustomer service. I initially called to ask about engraving metal business cards. After confirming that I already had the cards, I was told to come by for assistance and a quote. I drove about 15 minutes across town expecting a basic consultation. The same woman who answered the phone was at the front desk. From the beginning, her tone was sarcastic and condescending. When I showed her a sample of my design and mentioned it was made in Canva, she immediately dismissed it as "sh*t software" and made a point of saying they "use REAL software." When she learned the file wasn't vectorized, she told me I was wasting her time... despite never mentioning this requirement during the phone call. Had I been told upfront that a vector file was required, I would have come prepared. Instead, I was spoken to rudely and made to feel unwelcome. When I asked for a rough quote anyway, I was quoted $2,500 to engrave 100 business cards!!! (with me providing the materials). At that point it was clear the price was either punitive or they simply didn't want the job, so I left. This is the first 1-star review I've ever felt compelled to write on Yelp. While other reviews suggest they may do decent work, the customer service alone is reason enough to look elsewhere. At a minimum, get quotes from other engravers in town before wasting your time and gas. $2,500 for 100 business cards, materials provided, paired with outright disrespect? Hard pass.

At my first visit, I explained what I needed and Guy took me for a tour around his shop where scores of samples are on display. We arrived at the trophies I needed and then Guy made some great suggestions as to how I could develop the plates for each. This was a very pleasant experience to work with Guy and I'd recommend this business to anyone in need of high-quality sports and business awards.
