I noted that a previous person referred to Tewksbury as a Blue Collar town. I am puzzled how a town with homes selling for One Million Plus Dollars can be called Blue Collar?? As an aside, I have never had a problem having access to any book. The staff has always found a way to locate a copy. Tewksbury Library and staff are an asset to our Town.

The benefit of this library is that it's part of the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium, a network of 36 public libraries in northeast Massachusetts. So if this library doesn't have what you need and you have a library card, a librarian can check to see if the item is at a library in a nearby town. Wifi connection is usually pretty good and there's plenty of computers available for use. There's three large tables with power strips which are great if you're working or a studying on a laptop. Plenty of free parking spaces (unlike Andover, where you will most likely need to pay a few dollars to park). If I were to critique one thing about this library, it would be how the book categories are organized. It can be hard to discern different genres or types of books unless you're a Dewey decimal system expert. The signs they do have for categories are very broad (ie "biographies") so you may take a while to find a specific book.

I have…read moreonly been doing my own taxes for three years now and I've been audited and owed money for 2 out of 3 of those years, so it's been a very heavy financial burden and it's been emotionally and physically draining trying to run around and collect everything that the IRS is requesting and playing tag with paperwork as we dispute each others' math. Brenda gave me very clear and concise instructions on what I needed to do to get all this mess cleared up and even took the time out to look over my previous tax years for similar errors on my part. She went over and beyond the call of duty and the IRS (of all government agencies) needs more people like her. At the same time, when you call these folks, please don't take your frustrations out on them. It's hard because most of us feel the need to vent to/against someone, but working in customer service myself, I understand it's not their doing and Brenda made it clear on several occasions that she had no personal vested interest in whether I owed or not, but she was happy to help me figure out what I needed to submit to figure that out.

I was not…read morelooking to get a Full Time Job but I did know I wanted to either learn some Technical Computer Skills which I never thought I would ever learn at my age so that I could do some part time work somewhere or a Home Business which definitely would need Excel, Word, and make Presentations. I also learned while there they had a 'Medical Terminology Course', which would feed my previous Army Medical background and learn more up to date terms for work at a Hospital or similar area. The many weeks I was there; with the absolutely patient, understanding, and very loving and talented 'Friends' made there; I have made my life ; because of Operation ABLE's Staff much more enjoyable; and made money I never dreamed of. Let us all support this program as long as God keeps us here. They will always be part of my Heart's 'Family' and I wish them well........ A Check is on the way. Well Deserved. So this is the library, but it's the library inside the Fenton Judicial Center, AKA Lawrence Court…read moreHouse. I have used this library a few times to make copies, use the computers and print off documents not available in the offices. So far I've only been charged for copies, not for computers or computer printing. It has saved me more than once when I filled out a document wrong or needed a different form. The lady that runs the place is very nice and will help you find reference law materials and answer general questions.
