He takes the time to explain to you the situation, it's cause and effect, and he gives you the truthful options. Covid or not people need cleanings and to get their teeth checked/fixed. I've been coming to Dr Memoli for several years and appreciate that he has a little different perspective than most. He is very accommodating and cares about people's health and getting to the "root" problem! (see what I did there) Building is easy to find with any app (but signage could be better which is why I took an outside photo) everyone working there is friendly and wearing masks. Went to see Dr. Memoli due to persistent but mild tooth pain and came back after the visit in excruciating pain . He did not explain treatment plan very well and also did not inform me of additional costs . unfortunately I spent a lot of money only to feel worse and would not recommend him based on my personal experience. read more

I have never had any issues with Dr. Memoli and he has treated my entire family, children included for years. His jokes are just that, jokes and he has often said something funny to me about my husband. Of course no one can contribute to someone else's heavy metal poisoning. I really dislike when yelp reviews comment on something that has nothing to do with the service involved. There has been some turnover throughout the years with the front desk staff, but what dentists office doesn't go through that. I find Dr. Memoli's prices to be extremely fair. He never overcharges me what he has quoted and is amazing about follow-up regarding any questions you may have after a procedure. He is a phenomenal dentist! read more

Dr. Phil Memoli is a phony. We were warned by another dentist about him. His Treatment did not help my daughter as she was sick from the drops he gave her and he actually made her bite worse. Since she has passed away, he told me on the phone over two months ago that he would cooperate and get me her records both treatment and financial. For the last month his staff keeps making excuses and continue to lie and tell me that they sent them out. I'm considering filing a complaint to the medical and dental board. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. There so many great dentists out there and he's not one of them. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Memoli's for several years now. I like him a lot; his demeanor is very pleasant and he's very skillful. I have chronic Lyme disease, so I have pain on a daily basis; it's very important to me to have gentle care, and that's what I get from him. He also is skilled in homeopathy and has helped me improve my overall health. His prices are extremely fair, and he was more than happy to sit down and work out a treatment plan for me to do a lot of work on a gradual basis so that I could have it done in individual steps and not have too much sticker shop. read more

Something similar happened to me as it did to your girlfriend, I was sent to the hospital but my situation was so bad I almost died of a septic infection and I also had a heart attack. Dr. Memoli attacked me in his dentist chair and forced a procedure on me against my will with a sharp tool like it were a knife to hurt me. He should have been vigorously sued or had his dental license taken away. read more

He takes the time out to answer any questions or concerns and takes the time to give you personalized attention. His office staff is friendly and wonderful. Dr. Memoli has been my go to dentist since the first day I went to him. He is very gentle and thorough. He gives you options up front and communicates them extremely well. He doesn't overwhelm you with unnecessary xrays which is important to those who have thyroid issues. He removed all of the amalgams that were making me sick and did so extremely carefully. Make sure you ask about the total cost, up front. I saw Dr. Memoli 4 years ago. I went to have one amalgam filling removed. I brought the x-ray for that tooth with me. Dr. Memoli did a complete exam of my mouth. He checked by ALL MY TEETH for bone loss, etc. He checked ALL MY TEETH. I was a bit confused because I was there to have ONE AMALGAM FILLING removed. On the way out I saw the receptionist and they asked me to pay $225.00. I asked how much it would be to complete the removal and I was told that it was going to be another $200.00 or so. I didn't know why he examined my entire mouth. I had just had a dental exam with my dentist (mind you, Memoli did not even take an exay). I did not go back as a result of my parent's health issues. I called today and was told that the price to remove the amalgam would be $325 to $400 in addition to the $225.00 I already paid. Pretty shady way to have patients pay $225.00 for a dental exam they don't need or has nothing to do with the reason they are there. I will be having the amalgam filling removed by a dentist who does not run up the bill necessarily and I will be contacting the American Dental Society. read more

My girlfriend went to Dr. Memoli because of his "holistic" approach to dentistry. Small, clean office and he seemed friendly enough although in my opinion a bit odd. My girlfriend had told him that she suffered from heavy metal poisoning and when he came out to the waiting room to meet me the first thing he said was "so you're the one who poisoned her". Pretty inappropriate especially since he just met me and I'm paying his bill (he doesn't take insurance). Also, my girlfriend told me that he often talked about his wife's medical condition in such a way that it seemed as if he was complaining about her and what an annoyance it was. Why is he bringing up his wife's medical condition to his patients? He should be supportive of someone who is ill, not annoyed. So yeah, he seemed a bit odd. At one visit, when paying his bill, he told us that he patched a tooth for free which had previously been scratched by another dentist. This was not noted on the invoice he provided. Seemed nice of him, however for several months after that, my girlfriend was suffering from headaches. She realized that it seemed to be originating with the tooth that he patched. The headaches became so bad that she called him and he was nice enough to open up his office on the weekend. As I sat in the waiting room, she was trying to tell him what she thought was going on but I could hear them arguing about which tooth he previously worked on. Apparently he had his notes but never took x-rays before working on it. I went to the examination room thinking why is he, a professional, arguing with someone who is in pain and suffering? Shouldn't he be listening to what she is trying to explain, re-assure her and then find out what is going on? Instead he is arguing over which tooth he worked on saying "what does that have to do with the price of tea in China". Really, he is saying that to someone who is in pain? Turns out after taking an x-ray that there was a brewing problem with the tooth with nerve starting to go. He opened up the tooth, gave her an ozone shot and told her that if it still bothered her to book an appointment during the week and that a root canal may need to be scheduled. As if arguing about the tooth wasn't bad enough, he also asked how her ovaries were because in eastern medicine that tooth is connected to the ovaries. As a female, I think she would know if she was having ovary issues. As someone listening in on all this back and forth, I couldn't help think how absurd and unprofessional this was. Fast forward a few days, my girlfriend goes to her doctor and is told that she has a raging infection in her mouth, needed to see a dentist on an emergency basis (which cost us several thousand) and by the end of the week was hospitalized for 2 days. In my opinion, I find it hard to believe that the infection wasn't there when we saw Dr. Memoli and maybe if he had listened to what she was trying to explain to him rather than arguing with her, the infection may have been caught sooner or avoided altogether. read more
