Today's dental work was accompished quickly and painlessly in a bright, clean office comprised of thoroughly professional staff. REVIEW a YEAR in the making: A year ago, I went to SDP for a standard check-up, x-rays, and a…read morecleaning and was told I had several cavities and needed a crown - over a $1000 of work (beyond insurance). Over the next year, I decided to attend to my own dental care and did so conscientiously. Today, I went to a different, well established dentist, and received the same teeth cleaning, x-ray and check-up, and was told I needed ZERO fillings and there was no mention of the need for a crown. Interesting, right? SDP presents as skilled and caring, however, perhaps due to their overhead (massaging dental chairs and all), their diagnoses seem to edge towards self-serving. Buyer beware. Additionally, after a FULL YEAR, I have zero pain or sensitivity in any of the "problem areas" they had discovered. **The hygienist at SDP was excellent, as was the front desk staff, and, I do not doubt the skill of the dentists. Unfortunately, my perception of them is that they are more business oriented than "compassionate healer" oriented.
