While the store sold the most well known brands, there were also tread and floss brands I never heard of before. This would also be a great place to shop if you need gift ideas for your family members and friends who enjoy needle crafts. The staff person was very, very helpful and knowledgeable. She was fun to talk with and was able to answer all my questions. The store also sells different fabrics too for stitching on. My only reason for not giving five stars is that there was a little too much merchandise here. It was hard to look at everything in a short amount of time. However, this would be a great place to go if wanting to find your happy place and escape from the everyday for a while. Next time I shop here, I'll plan ahead so I can spend more time looking through different patterns.

They did not even have the courtesy to call in advance and tell me it was broken! They offered to order another piece for me to paint free of charge but for what?? Why would I want to spend another 2 hours by myself painting another piece again? It was a small figurine and it was very tedious work! I asked if I could take the pieces home anyway just for the memory and I could try to glue it, and the lady told me I couldn't! I asked her why if they were just going to throw it in the trash anyway, and she told me it was their policy! Are you kidding me?? How does that even make sense? She refunded my money for the piece, but when I got home, I realized I was not refunded the tax that I originally paid either! I deserve an explanation from the manager as to why no one bothered to call me to let me know my piece was broken, as well as not being refunded the tax, and not being able to take the broken piece home when they were just going to trash it anyway.

The store was organized well and it was easy to walk around. It was fun looking at all the Snoopy and Peanuts merchandise. This is one of the larger Hallmark stores I've been in. When we walked in, we were greeted by several employees, and even offered a tour of the store so we would know where to look for different items. We were feeling as if we were let loose in a candy store as if we were kids. I found several items I had not seen in other fabric stores. The store is very well laid out, organized clean, and the sales help was exceptional. I do not feel cheated out of going to Paducah, as I am bringing home several really great fabrics to work with crafts and garment construction. I would recommend the store to anyone who likes to sew. The store is also a babylock dealer so it's nice to see familiar machines in the store as you walk in . Every item that you buy is actually recorded with your name and phone number so in case you do need more items they can ship it to you. I thought that was a pretty good touch. Highly recommend

But it seems near impossible to find that exact fabric except on Etsy were people were charging $20 for a half yard piece and I needed at least 2 yards continuous. I stumbled across this website in my searching and they had the exact fabrics that I needed for a totally reasonable price. I ordered it, And then found a second fabric I also wanted to order but the website wouldn't let me order the whole piece so I called first thing in the morning. The young man who answered the phone quickly found the exact fabric I wanted measured it for me, added it to the order I had placed the night before, which he had already packaged, and then even combined shipping for me! Shipping was fast and I am so in love with these lovely fabrics! I would love to be in the area to visit this fabric store!
