They have aesthetic office supplies and endless selections of journals, notebooks, and planners. They have art supplies for kids and adults! They have gift wrap and little gifts and trinkets for any occasion. My favorite part - the store is organized by color, so the space looks like a rainbow! The service is always very friendly and efficient. Everything is a little more expensive than it would be at a big box store, but I absolutely love supporting this small business whenever I'm in Evansville!!

I was born with many blessings, but a bubble-butt isn't one of those gifts, so tailoring is essential. Southern Indiana winter for a Southern Californian means new clothes. I bought a pair of heavy wool pants on eBay that were a little tight in the waist and had a pair of vintage wool pants that belonged to my stepfather that were easily three sizes too big (long and baggy). Both needed alterations. Garden View Creations wasn't my first choice because the pictures made me think they specialized in wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses and I've had men's pants turned into ladies capris by such specialists, but the other tailor I called never responded, so I gave them a call. I am so happy that I met Dorita, the owner of Garden View Creations! She did an amazing job altering the eBay pants and completely transformed my step father's pants to make them fit me. Dorita has an excellent eye, and more importantly, an excellent ear. Everyone has a different sense of style and hearing what a client wants is paramount for tailoring. I'm so happy with Dorita's work that I dropped off another pair of pants and will bring her any new clothes I buy while I live in the area. Thank you, Dorita! While the store sold the most well known brands, there were also tread and floss brands I never heard of before. This would also be a great place to shop if you need gift ideas for your family members and friends who enjoy needle crafts. The staff person was very, very helpful and knowledgeable. She was fun to talk with and was able to answer all my questions. The store also sells different fabrics too for stitching on. My only reason for not giving five stars is that there was a little too much merchandise here. It was hard to look at everything in a short amount of time. However, this would be a great place to go if wanting to find your happy place and escape from the everyday for a while. Next time I shop here, I'll plan ahead so I can spend more time looking through different patterns.
