On January 25, 2025 I bought a membership with No commission Travel / Member Services Group to get lower prices on air fares, hotels, cruises, condos and travel packages. I have requested many times quotes on air fare, hotels and condos just to find out that their rates were higher than what I found online. I called and left messages for a manager to call me back on December 26 and 27,28,29, finally on December 30 a lady answered the phone and I asked to speak with a manager, she asked me for the reason that I wanted to speak with a manager, I started telling her about the different times that I found better prices and she started arguing with me, she got so mad that I wasn't buying her explanations that she hung up the phone. I called right after that and she didn't answer. On January 5, I spoke with Vanessa about talking to a manager, she told me that she was going to pass the message to John, that was 2 weeks a go and I haven't heard back from them. I called yesterday and today and all I get is their answering machine, I keep leaving messages with no luck. At this point I'm not sure what to do. read more

MY OPINION only, Just signed up, 6 days age. How Stupid can I be? $4995.00 dollars down the drain. Thinking I could help my 3 children travel a bit. Looked into it after I left. I did nothing but pay $4995.00 for access to their travel agency which anybody can do business with without a contract. AAA can do the same thing. I am going to burn my packet of information, not going to mention it to my kids and have them subject to more. I happen to have a bit of extra money that I can afford to waste, Check your finances, if you can't afford a loss, do not sign up. Nothing is free, if it sounds too good, it probably is. The only time you pay more for a vacation is when you are in a hurry. If you can wait 60 days, as you have to do with this plan, you can get the deals. We went to a travel presentation. The 1st thing that the presenter said to do was write down "Member Services Group" and "NCT Travel." These were the companies behind the presentation. The sell sounded nice with lots of pretty travel destination pictures. $16K for a lifetime of access to wholesale travel which was also transferable to heirs. Also $500 processing fee & $250 annual fee if you used their service. Also the discounts would be for your whole travel party. Also price matching. The presenter said she'd give us her cell #. If not interested, the price came down, then down again. You could pay $6K to test it for 10 years then pay more to extend. Red flags: None of the sales paperwork nor the fine print mentioned "Member Services Group." The sales person didn't know about that either. Paperwork were copies of previous copies of original documents. Event was at a fancy hotel in the area with $20 parking fee which we asked be validated. It wasn't so we spoke to the concierge desk which validated so we didn't have to pay the fee. I quickly looked at both companies online & didn't see anything positive. We did receive a restaurant discount card & a free cruise card & brochure. I haven't checked those out yet. read more

Member Services group is a supplier for the travel services membership sold by savvy escapes. Buyer beware! It's a scam. This organization has no web presence or email and none of their staff ever supply a last name. Fortunately, for us, we were lucky enough to find useful reviews on Tripadvisor within the initial 72 hour period and were able to cancel our membership. However, read the cancellation instructions carefully. You do have to return the brown portfolio and a piece of sales literature together with your cancellation letter or you won't get your money back. However, we see that others were not so lucky. After we returned our sales materials, they did give us the promotional airfare and hotel, which costs $395 for a couple plus $50 for registration fee plus any other money that you will owe for upgrades. ZERO star rating! My husband and I "fell" for this SCAM a few years ago and paid over $5,000 for "Travel Services" and unfortunately, we continued to pay annual dues of $249 for a couple more years, thinking we would eventually get our money's worth. We are certainly very upset with ourselves to have been "taken in" by SCAM artists such as Member Services Group. We have now invested over $6,000 in supposed "travel services" and got literally NOTHING in return. We wish we would have read ALL of the numerous bad reviews this company has received indicating that they are a SCAM travel service before we signed up. They have done nothing to invite paying members to use their services, no emails about any special pricing on cruises, airline tickets, nothing! No monthly newsletter to stay in touch and let paying members know about any travel promotions, condo rentals, etc. - NOTHING!!!! Their website is USELESS, they do not respond to communication (I have requested information & pricing on cruises MULTIPLE times), for condo rentals - their pricing is not discounted - the one time they responded to a condo rental request in Orcacoke, NC, we got a better price contacting the island rental company directly. We hope no one else gets taken advantage of like this, it is disgusting and shameful that they are still in business and stealing people's money. We hope Member Services Group goes out of business soon! read more

If you're reading this while googling the company name during their presentation - very smart of you - start asking them about their Yelp reviews and you'd leave the presentation earlier and save your time (you'll still get the "gifts" but you'll quickly find out they're as worthless as the company "product", so don't bother waiting for them). To add to what others said (secrecy about company name until the presentation), two things I've spotted immediately: - The company is offering their services in, CA but is not registered with CA Secretary of State, meaning it doesn't even have a business license and thus breaking state laws. - The company additionally is breaking CA laws by not being registered as "seller of travel" (https://oag.ca.gov/travel) as CA law requires. This is typical for the companies who have no plans to deliver on their promises. As of the company services, the presentation only showed some made-up numbers (comparing their price with "retail price" with no explanation where this retail price came from). The reps refused to do a real-time price comparison of their website against Expedia for the same properties and dates, which was all I needed to hear. Naturally, the "$10000" offer went down all the way to $999, but even $1 would be too much for this kind of services. Finally, the "$100 gift card" you get for restaurants - as stated below, it has a $10 "activation fee" and many other ridiculous restrictions. Make sure you read the fine print before spending any money on its activation. As a "free cruise", their travel provider is Casablanca Express - check their BBB reviews and F rating. They work in a similarly scammy way - before yuu can book anything, you need to deposit a lot of money (and they don't even take credit cards, meaning their merchant status has been revoked for too many chargebacks). Only after you do the deposit you'd be able to tell them the dates. Rest assured that you'd only get the cruise for the dates for which you can buy it yourself at Expedia for a cheaper price than your pay in "taxes and fees". read more

We just went to a presentation in Bellingham, WA. Presenter was good but last two reps not so good. They Offered free $100 voucher and free cruise. $100 voucher is just coupons and not many choices. Free Cruise company (Casablanca Express) has an outrageous 1 star rating with a lot of BBB complaints. Many wanted to give a negative star. So, if Member Services is such a good company, Why would they attach themselves to such a bad company. Don't pay more than $1000 to join their group, they make enough on membership. But it comes down to as a travel agent, why give you a fraudulent company for a free trip????? read more

In October 2022 we purchased a travel membership from Member Services Group (this review is for the service not the "free" stuff offered to attend). Member Services Group advertised to us that they will provide discounted travel packages and prices on all travel, including airfare, hotel, cruise, etc. Their claim is they have connections with various travel companies and then they sell to other businesses like Expedia, Cruise discount sites, etc. We were also told that if we found a better deal anywhere they would match that price. We have tried to use the service several times and none of these were less expensive. When we told them about the better price we found, the reply back was "that is the best we could do" and they would have someone call us back. We never got any calls back. Here is an example of a family cruise (we booked on Carnival.com): 14 day cruise on Carnival: $4,739 Member Services: $6,105 Round trip airfare United.com: $6,521 Member Services: $6,920 We tried to book a hotel for 5 nights in Tempe near Arizona State University(ASU). When we called, we were asked what hotel, we answered anything near ASU. They could not find any hotels that matched and asked for a hotel name. We opened Expedia, searched Arizona State University and got a long list. We named one on the list and she gave us a price that was $50 more per night. We tried 2 others on the list both more than what Expedia showed. We finally gave up, and booked on Expedia. We tried 4 more trips over the next 2 months and all prices were more expensive or not available so we ended up booking online. We strongly believe that Member Services has not follow through on their advertised discount travel deals, the ability to match the price, or to even provide some form of customer service. Customer support has never been helpful only returning a couple of calls of the dozen of messages left and those ended with "we will have to look into that", or "I will forward it to someone else that can help". read more

I must admit I was going to cancel within the 3 day cancellation window. GLAD I DIDN'T. You don't see the value until you book your trips. I immediately booked a Viking Cruise to see the Northern Lights and a Aruba luxury condo and saved almost my fee with just 2 trips and this is after dong my own price comparison apples for apples. Make sure to book through them not their website.for maximum savings. During my sales presentation I could see what a good business plan they have and they pass all of their savings to you. I can see why they have close to 400,000 members and growing. It's just like Costco they make money on a very low cost annual fee of $280 which is frozen and will not go up and put all those high commissions travel agents get in your pocket I'm already planning my third triip which will be a rail vacation in Switzerland or Canadian Rockies and then i will have broken even in a years time. Cincinnati, OH. Got a postcard in the mail which offered $100 restaurant voucher and a free 3 to 7 day cruise including air fare. Obviously to good to be true, but every now and then (three times in the past 40 years) we give into temptation and go hear about what they are selling. I was highly skeptical (and rightly so) when they wouldn't provide much information on the company itself except at the presentation. The presenter was very engaging and polished and had us giving it serious consideration. It really did sound great, who wouldn't want the option of staying at world class hotels, cruise lines or entire travel packages at 50% of retail. There were about six couples (you and your spouse are required to attend) and at the conclusion of the presentation (about 90 minutes long) each couple got their own salesman to answer questions and complete the complete the sale. We sat through the presentation, asked reasonable questions about the service and then declined the sales offer. The starting price was $10,699 plus $249 annual maintenance fee along with a $499 credit card processing fee, which the salesman assured us was only a one time fee if we purchased the travel package with a credit card (not sure why the do that, why not just roll it into the price?). Everything was very pleasant up to that point, once we declined the pressure started (slowly at first), the price started dropping (along with some of the benifits, such as how many "premium" travel packages per year, less family members, remove golf packages, etc.. They got the price all the way down to $3500. Once it became obvious we were not going to buy Mat (the salesman) started to get downright rude. Accused us of wasting his time, not being serious. I tried to tell him I "Never" buy anything the first day, need to sleep on it and do some research. Mat wasn't buying that, had to be today, no need to do research, even brought up their BBB listing (which we all know can be bought now, that rating is worthless). When I stood up to leave he finally gave up and asked us to wait while he closed out the paperwork. He returned 5 minutes later with a form indicating we understood there were fees associated with the gifts, etc., that they are provided by a third party and that we understood they were not responsible for availability of there use. The "free cruise" certificate never showed up, but they did email the $100 meal certificate which cost $10 to register, plus 18% to use and they only give you $25 per month which you must spend within 30 day or lose the next months allotment. No real critisum there, you get what you pay for and I expect if the free cruise ever shows up it will be of similiar quality. It is a good marketing technique. While I don't think it is a scam, I also (after reading all the other reviews) don't think this is a good investment. If it really was, why not simply charge $250 to use their service each time, that would let me try and see if I really saved any money and if they are really saving me 50% then I'd use them every time. No thanks on something I can't verify is going to save me money. I don't recommend this service, it just sounds to good to be true. Also, it should be noted that Member Services Group doesn't do the marketing/sales, this was done by a separate company, J&T Solutions, LLC (Travel), so I have to believe they are taking a commission (or the whole thing) on the package sales prices. So the folks promising you the moon are not the ones that have to meet your expectations. read more

I would urge caution. Very good salesperson gave the presentation but I'm always skeptical of places where you need to sign up that day. What's the rush to spend close to 10K? When I stated I preferred to do my own research the sales person assigned to us refused to give me her business card, stating, "I only give my card out to people i do business with." That my friends is a red flag. They are proud of having 300,000 members but according to the Better Business Bureau they have less than 25 employees. So no wonder so many people say it's impossible to get good rates, it must be near impossible to get anyone on the phone. They have an agent for every 10,000 people if that's accurate. Take a breath. Like most things in life if it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't what it's cracked up to be. The final straw was their relationship with Rewards and Incentives, the 3rd party group they are only to happy to distance themselves from when you attend. If these people are as lowly rated as everyone who investigates them, why would they associate themselves with them. When you lie down with dogs you all get fleas. The $100 dinner vouchers are nothing more than $25 over the course of 4 restaurants (no listing is made available in advance) and that's after paying $17 to register. So net net you get $8 off your first meal and then $25 off three anonymous places. Would you trust these places as top rate? Unlikely. Same with the flight voucher- free after paying $400 in taxes and the representative deflected all questions about them. Steer clear. Arrogant sales person, understaffed agents, rip off of your 'free voucher,' and just dishonest. After reading reviews of others that said the prices quoted for reservations were similar to what their agents sold them for, save your time and just rip up the letter when you get it and save yourself the hour and a half of time you'll never get back in your life. read more

We sat through a 2 hour presentation with a fast-talking presenter. After the presentation, the once-in-a-lifetime price of $8,999 was offered plus a yearly use fee of $249 if used by buyer. Membership included buyer and two other families of choice of buyer and was transferable upon death. All people in attendance were elderly. After the long, drawn-out presentation, each couple had his/her own sales person join them at their table to sign them up. My husband & I said "No, thank you". Our used car sales man slowly offered us $6000, then $4000, then $1995 for lifetime membership with no other fees. I smelled a rat and we came home. I called later to get the name of the company, which we did not have to further investigate. My friend, who went before us, signed up for the amazing deal of $6000. I am hopeful they have not been scanned. My fear is, THIS IS A TOTAL SENIOR SCAM AND BEWARE!!! read more

We attended a presentation in the SF Bay Area. The offer was quite enticing but my suspicious Sicilian blood sensed that it was too good to be true. During the presentation, I did a quick Google search of member services group and came to this yelp page and read these reviews. After the presentation was over, our consultant sat with us for about 2 seconds. He put no additional pressure on us but rather escorted us to the door and gave us our travel certificate. I think he saw me reading on my phone and didn't want me to start asking questions and sharing reviews in front of the other prospective buyers. We've been to several timeshare presentations and we know that typically, they put the hard sell on you and pressure you until the bitter end. This was the complete opposite. BUYER BEWARE We just got back from the Member Services Group sales pitch in San Diego. We were given our $100 dinner voucher which will cost us a $9.95 "processing fee" to redeem. It is NOT free. Plus, they only allow you $25 per month over the course of 4 months. If you do not use your $25 within the month, it does not roll over. The 2 nights plus airline ticket will cost us a $50 "processing fee" to redeem. SCAM! Stay away. Attending meeting did not feel comfortable with presentation or secrecy of the actual company. Tried to take advantage of the Free Airfare and hotel for sitting through 90 minute presentation. Once we registered for $50 we were directed to another company "odenzareg.com" and in order to redeem our travel and hotel we were required to pay $398.00 + $199/per person. Insult to injury on the certificate we then discovered our hotel choices and I quote were "(Days Inn, Super 8 or similar)." Travel is only allowed on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday! SCAM!! We were highly skeptical of the company but we signed up anyways. The first warning to us was it took over 20 phone calls and emails to get the free airline tickets. I think we only received them because we signed up for the service and not because we attended their presentation. There is only one person (Richard) that works there to book any travel and it takes multiple days to get a response. The pricing on everything we had quoted was no better than anything we could buy online. This was for last minute travel and for travel 6 months into the future. A long ways from their false promises of deep discounts. Save your money and use reputable websites and direct bookings like Bonvoy. This company is not legit. I will say I was scammed but it has served as a valuable learning lesson. I am on the lookout for those Nigerian Princesses now. read more

Attended one of their 90 minute presentations. They were very good at making the you want to be a member of their group. Membership cost was $9000 one time fee with another $250 one time fee and annual fee of $250. Visiting with one of their agents after the presentation the cost was cut down to about $2000 one time fee and the $250 annual fee. If booking through them they told us the savings would be very good. When we tried to have them give us a quote for a trip we know about the cost they would not do that. Tried to find on-line reviews about them but could not find anything. Just happen to come on some information and discovered they change their name frequently so reviews were not apparent. That was a flag for us. As part of listening to their presentation they gave us two roundtrip airliner and hotel and Restaurant certificate. Discovered we had to pay money to use the certificates. Would need solid reviews before considering buying a membership. More stars when we have confidence. At this point it looks like they have discovered a way to pull in big bucks thru memberships - guessing $77M a year. Keep in mind when there is a third party buying the travel, the companies actually doing the travel have no interest in you until you actually sit in their seat. When things get screwed up as travel can you must have a credible agent to help you resolve. read more
