He became immediately rude and threatening (see other reviews here) and was cursing, calling names, etc... in a manner that was actually frightening. About 45 minutes later, he exited the building while I was in the lobby with our maintenance engineer and front desk concierge. If you watch this security camera video/audio, you'll know exactly how this person operates as a human being, towards other human beings. Note how he gestures to our maintenance engineer to move and just yells "MOVE!", not even saying "excuse me"... then all three of us said "Have a Nice Day" at the same time, in the same manner, not being sarcastic whatsoever. You just never know who you're talking to. I only hope that he starts to see and listen to himself, and understand that this is going to give him a heart attack, and that it's also going to take him all the way to the poor house in today's world of social media.

I have American Home Shield as a home warranty company. The plumber they sent out said we needed to get new sub flooring in order for them to replace it. After checking and sharing pictures with a friend who is a contractor he said that isn't true and to call a handyman. My friend recommended Kerry and The Handyman Next Door. James came out and got it installed back right away. Fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. Very friendly and courteous. Will definitely use TJ em again if we ever need services. They do charge a 2 hour minimum but I didn't mind paying that even though he was here shorter as the service was worth it.

That was more than I paid for the original install. Glad Tyler was around to give me a hand. That's what a local handyman is supposed to be- friendly and helpful!

Mike not only came out the same day...ON TIME but had me a new base in place by COB. Additionally Mike was 75% less expensive than ANY of the guys I spoke to (smart wife). Mike was honest, credible and DIDN'T take the opportunity to price gouge me. I will call this dude for EVERYTHING. But don't take my word for it. Look at my before and after!

Scott is awesome, and his knowledge is incredible. We needed him to stop 2 leaks and change out our faucets in both the Kitchen & Bathroom. He also fixed the Bathroom towel rack that had been driving us crazy. We had some hiccups with parts, and had to make frequent trips to Lowes/Home Depot, but Scott was right there with us. For some of us, owning a home can be a frustrating experience, and having a good "knowledable" handyman is critical. Not only does Scott know his stuff, he has a calming personality and makes you feel like a friend is helping you out. You will find his fees are quite reasonable, and he called us a couple of days later to make sure everything was working fine. If you have projects or issues that need addressing, give Scott a call, you won't be disappointed. One thing I can guarantee, I will be calling Scott again soon!

Installations were done but with a little change. I texted him the day before and he came out to the house the next day and on time! The myQ installation was fast and clean. The only problem we had was to pair the myQ device with the Genie garage door opener. The instructions that came with the myQ box didn't work. Jeff figured out the problem and we were able to get the two devices to work together. The new myQ device and the garage door work perfectly. The "nest" install didn't happen. We installed the ecobee4 smart thermostat instead. The installation was smooth and fast. Jeff took the time to make sure everything worked correctly. We also asked him to look at our air conditioning problems. He checked everything out and gave us options on what needed to be done to fix it. He didn't even charge us to look this over. We made an appointment to work our Air Conditioning problems next month. One last thing, Jeff gives you his prices up front. No worries on what you are paying for the work being done. Jeff is professional and highly skilled. I would recommend him for all your "handyman" work that you need.

Well we got what we wanted but the price went up and then we started to notice the imperfections here and there. Then one night we heard a crash and glass shattering. Turns out the the new shelves that where being held in with pins came loose from the wall and all my family picture frames broke, and I lost a blue glass candy dish that we inherited from my husbands grandmother. I was angry, and heartbroken!! At that moment we where done. So I reached out to Jeremy again, and told him the situation. Jeremy came to our home and gave us another bid. However this time it was to repair the multiple issues we had with the media wall, as well as some other home improvements like, a new side garage door installed, master bathroom door reversed entry, drywall repair, moulding repair, paint, and building NEW THICKER SHELVES !!! To say we absolutely love our media wall is an understatement !! We can not thank Jeremy enough!! and we plan to see him again for phase 2 of renovations. Actually make that for anything we will need in the future!! I highly recommend Jeremy and his crew because they do excellent work. In fact when our son came over, and saw all of the work Jeremy and his crew did, and the quality they put into their work, he decided to have Jeremy do his home repairs as well. Thank you Jeremy !!!

And I'm going to reiterate here what my Dad always told me: "you get what you pay for." ...meaning, I would have first contacted someone with a lower hourly rate, but that probably would not have ended up leaving me with this flawless expertise Luis offers! First, he was available on a HOLIDAY! Responded promptly & professionally. Super convenient as I had the day off & another home consultation scheduled for later in the afternoon. I had a small handful of tasks needing help/attention. He was prompt to respond & offered his rates/terms up front, no hassle & extremely easy to schedule with. While I did have materials on hand, he suggested they wouldn't be as sufficient in the long term, so I genuinely appreciated he came to inspect & then went to purchase any additional materials based on the consultation. ...and from there, I let him do his art! The entirety wasn't a big ask- 3 smaller tasks of replacing a closet dowel hanger, placing patio string lights & mounting a tapestry quilt. The biggest caveat of this was the kitchen pantry storage cabinet American Furniture delivered, needing assembly. I already knew this would not be possible for me to maneuver, solo. And, I am SO glad I decided to seek a professional to construct this because it took him a good minute! Even better, he went above & beyond to anchor this piece to the wall, seeing it was not fully sturdy due to the tile flooring pattern. He communicated arrival ahead. Had literally ALL of the supplies & materials needed on hand outside of what needed to be included in the consult. He worked independently & extremely quiet (aside from the necessary power tools)- I barely noticed! ...and absolutely acknowledged my senior kitty who curiously wanted to "supervise". The job did take a bit longer than anticipated, but that was due to the beast of pantry cabinet assembly. I am SO happy with the services & I feel like the hourly rate/pricing is definitely on par for the quality & expertise provided. And, he took diligence to haul any scraps/waste out to the dumpster- leaving literally no trace behind. It was very convenient paying via Zelle transfer. Cash is also accepted, cards have a 3% fee. I would highly recommend, and will be bookmarking to save this in my collection because I will most certainly seek Luis for any future handyman services. Still just VERY grateful he obliged coming out on the 4th of July to help with my home needs. The 5 stars certainly are accurate!
