My sister recently moved to Cleveland, and I came to visit from Houston…read more Due to Covid we decided to call to make sure they were open, and the owner stated that they were going based on appointment due to covid. We called to make a reservation at 2:30pm. We were driving to find the place, and there it was at the corner of the street. At first we thought it was only us, but there was also another group outside. The gentleman, I believe his name is Bryan was beyond helpful. He gave us a tour of the winery and the process of how they make the wine. I absolutely loved both Bryan and maya because they made us feel super comfortable and talked us through the wine tasting. It was my first time and I was a bit hesitant at first, but we decided to do so since it was so close to us. The wine was delicious, and the laughs we shared was a highlight of the experience. My sister bought a small wine bottle because it was so good. The prices were reasonable. We paid $25 for a tour, and the tasting of 8 wines. I highly recommend this place because it is helping the community and it is a small mom and pop shop winery. It is definitely a must try if you are in the area.

The winery is changing the vibe of this neighborhood for the better. Majority of the neighbors love it here and the winery is creating jobs for people in the immediate area, which is needed and wonderful. They source their hybrid vines which are grafted, from Cornell University grapes. Their wines have great names such as Swoon, Sassy, or Crimson! All the wine is cold pressed and made on site. They quark all their wine and make about 5,000 bottles per year. Mansfield Frazier is the owner with his lovely wife Brenda. They personally run the joint and take great care of their costumers and wine. I was here for a 20+ person event with the Cornell Alumni Club and they did a fabulous job accommodating everyone! There is plenty of parking and space to walk around outside. There is a bit of seating inside and very knowledgeable staff around to talk about their products. Their hours of operation vary so you should call the number on the door and the owner could possibly be there in minutes. 216-438-0964 They do not have snacks for sale at the moment, but you are welcome to bring your own to eat inside. FYI - In the future they would love to take down the old abandon building, which was once a church next door and grow the wine making facility with a gift shop, market and better space to host more costumers. If interested in supporting this new Cleveland biz - come visit!

Gotta love a place serving alcohol I can walk to from home! Last summer these guys expanded and…read moreadded a patio and tasting room. This was my first time here since it was a vet, but after walking past several times and seeing the parking lot full, I had to come in and see what the hubbub is all about. Dropped in on a Saturday afternoon. Was quite surprised at the size of the tasting room and the attention to detail they used when building the place. Met the wine maker who is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Was conflicted between the Cab and the Red blend. Asked for a sample and was pleased with both, but the blend was truly unique. Ordered a full glass, which came with a side of chips and a few chocolate raspberry candies. Everything was first class. Will leave with a couple of bottles but must come back when the patio is open and the band is playing.

And they have a little stage set up for musicians to play. We were treated with some entertainment from Alley Kats. I think that was their name. Lots of fun. Now to the wine. We all have different tastes. Sweet, semisweet and dry. There was something for all of us. We talked to the owner who was a super nice guy and he got us all situated. We got the Red Dolce. It was a bit sweet and smooth. Very good. Everyone else seemed happy and enjoyed their wine. We also got some cheese, crackers and salami to munch on. Also tastee. Lots of people having a good time. It never seemed crowded or too much. Inside looks nice. So if it rains or in the winter it will be nice to sit inside. You can open a tab or pay as you go. Prices aren't bad for a glass or a bottle. Glasses are in the $7 range or so and bottles in the $23 range. It's a nice fun atmosphere to sit and listen to music for awhile or just grab a glass and head out afterwards. This is a definite return!

I had a couple of my client meetings at the café, and it was well put together and very fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the designs of the plating and the flexibility of the café area. The weekends are full of people wanting to relax and enjoy the weather while enjoying some wine and snacks. It was very insightful to see the community gathered all in one location for the same purpose.

For dessert I got the almond raspberry cake and I felt like the sweetness was perfect. It was one of my favorite almond cakes I have had out here. My favorite appetizer was their Brussels sprouts. I wish I would have ordered a side of the sauce because that's what made it good. You have to order on your phone and I recommend to not show up hungry because if you're seated in the vineyards room, their wifi shows up sporadically and you have to quickly click it before it goes away. We did like that there was no server but wish they got a wifi extender or just better wifi to make it easier on the clients. For the bad. I ordered the mushroom pizza which didn't have much flavor to it. It felt like it was missing something. The best way to describe it is bland. We also ordered the truffle fries which were ok.... I don't think they deserve to have the name truffle on there. I was excited for the food because people have raved about it but maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Overall the place is ok. I can find good desserts and food anywhere else for a better price but I'm glad I came once.

They have lights and signage to let you know you're at the right house. They even have a small vineyard growing in the backyard.. Upon entering the door to the winery, you will find yourself in a stairwell with stairs going down to the basement. Once you're in the basement you will immediately forget you are in a basement. It is quite a spacious and comfortable area with lots of tables and couches, a fireplace, a bar, and a bathroom. There's even a section where they make the wine in steel barrels. It's very cozy, charming, friendly and clean. The host/owners are extremely friendly. It seems that the owner's family is from Northern Italy and we enjoyed talking to them. The Wine itself far exceeded my expectations. We tasted three reds plus the Chardonnay, and we enjoyed all of it. The blueprint red blend was my favorite followed by the Chardonnay. I'm a bit of a Wine snob and I typically don't like Ohio wine. However, I was pleasantly surprised...okay...if we're being honest...actually shocked...that all the wine we tasted was excellent. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family about La Famiglia winery!
