Absolutely the BEST Awesome Delicious Every thing is so fresh and tastes out of this World. Owners Darlene and Diana Are the Nicest people you could ever meet. My favorite sandwich is the Short Rib melt the tomato soup is awesome and either the cheesecake or fluffernutter for dessert is a winner. First sandwiches of the 2019 Spring Summer Season. I'll be saving my pennies to treat myself

Melt Mobile is a new gourmet grilled cheese food truck that just opened in Stamford, CT! I was there for opening day as a part of a FLASH MOB! (Look for me on Food Network ;D) Bobby Flay was on set, shooting for his new untitled television show on Food Network where he follows food entrepreneurs around the country. He was helping out by giving out cups of tomato soup to everyone standing on line. I work in Stamford and didn't hear about the new food truck, but apparently many others did because there were a good amount of people there! Melt Mobile serves over 12 types of grilled cheese sandwiches, a good number of sides (all sorts of fries and tots included) as well as 3 dessert sandwiches. The sandwiches range from $5.50 for the original melt grilled cheese (Tillamook Cheddar, Gruyere, Monterey Jack on Country White Bread), to $8 for the specialty sandwiches. I had The Mademoiselle: Triple Cream Woolwich Brie, Prosciutto di Parma, on Cranberry Pecan bread. It was very satisfying - $8 will get you full! There are also a slew of add-on's you can get, ranging from bacon to wild mushrooms, clocking in from $0.50 to $1.00. Agua is $1.50. Melt Mobile donates 2% of their proceeds to the Umbrella club, a charity devoted to helping under privileged children in need! The truck is stationed at Veteran's Park, M-F 11am-4pm.

Listen I randomly came across this place at a school event and came across some lovely females with amazing smiles. But little did I know that the food I got was gonna taste so ridiculous omg... I had this sandwich called the insanewhich and I kept eating it when I was finished, I don't how that's possible but i did ... And I also tried the caprenese and that was.......... Wow smh...... I can't even focus right now. This place MELTMOBILE IS AWESOME take my word for it because I'm a foodie and I KNOW what's good lol. Hire them people you won't regret it trust me .

Originally from Portland, Maine, the cousins later settled in Southern California. Impressed with the Los Angeles food truck industry, they decided to start selling Maine lobster in the L.A. area. Lobster was typically viewed as a pricey delicacy, only served in precious portions at fancy restaurants. The cousins saved up enough money to buy a food truck. East Coast transplants raved about the authenticity, freshness and the copious amount of meat in the lobster rolls. Their success really took off after they were featured on an episode of the TV series "Shark Tank". The brand expanded, more food trucks were bought, and the first brick & mortar location opened in West Hollywood in 2015. As of 2025, the chain has 60 food trucks and four restaurants throughout 27 states as well as Washington, D.C. I recently sampled some of Cousins Maine's delicious lobster when I saw one of their trucks at a local brewery. The "Greater Connecticut" truck travels all across Connecticut to stop at breweries, wineries, and various markets and festivals. Although I had seen the Connecticut truck on the road many times, this was my first time ordering from them. The menu consists of items made from Maine lobsters, such as Maine Lobster Rolls, Connecticut Lobster Rolls, lobster quesadillas, lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, lobster bisque, as well as New England Clam Chowder. After looking over the menu, I decided to order some "Lobster Tots" (tater tots served with warmed Maine lobster, cilantro lime sauce, pico de gallo). They were simply divine and paired well with the beers that I was having at the brewery. I give Cousins Maine Lobster my seal of approval and I hope to see one of their trucks again!

I ordered a lobster roll that was pretty good not a lot of lobster on the roll. I ordered lobster and Tara tots that was okay. Food pricy for such small portions I'm aware that's it's seafood. I was standing outside waiting my turn so the fresh air was great and the trees blowing and talking to people while standing on that horrendous line to try samples. Will not do that again
