I got to try their empanadas at the food truck fest. Very good, and stuffed. Their three cheese and chicken empanadas are tasty.

Please allow me to disabuse you of the idea that Melt Mobile's offerings are simply grilled cheese sandwiches. Oh no. Melt Mobile serves unique, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches for the kid in us who's just a bit older. I sampled the BBQ pulled pork with cheddar, caramelized onions, and sliced dill pickles on two slices of grilled country white. Two words: Oh my! Another two words: Must try! Not into pork? Why not try their California chicken melt with cheese, grilled chicken, tomatoes, avocado, and ranch dressing on grilled multigrain? (I took one to go for dinner later. The heck with my cholesterol!) Other offerings include a burrata melt, a jalapeño popper melt, a smash burger melt, a meatball melt...you get the idea. In the mood for something sweet? There's a cheesecake melt featuring a thin slice of NY-style cheesecake sandwiched between two slices of poundcake with powdered sugar dusted onto it. There's also a s'mores melt and a fluffernutter. Melt Mobile's deliciousness can only be savored through private rental, so the next time you want to kick up your church's coffee hour or have everyone saying it was the best party they ever attended, book them!

Cousins Maine Lobster is a brand and fleet of lobster food trucks that began in Los Angeles,…read moreCalifornia in April 2012. It was founded by cousins Jim Tselikis and Sabin Lomac. Originally from Portland, Maine, the cousins later settled in Southern California. Impressed with the Los Angeles food truck industry, they decided to start selling Maine lobster in the L.A. area. Lobster was typically viewed as a pricey delicacy, only served in precious portions at fancy restaurants. The cousins saved up enough money to buy a food truck. East Coast transplants raved about the authenticity, freshness and the copious amount of meat in the lobster rolls. Their success really took off after they were featured on an episode of the TV series "Shark Tank". The brand expanded, more food trucks were bought, and the first brick & mortar location opened in West Hollywood in 2015. As of 2025, the chain has 60 food trucks and four restaurants throughout 27 states as well as Washington, D.C. I recently sampled some of Cousins Maine's delicious lobster when I saw one of their trucks at a local brewery. The "Greater Connecticut" truck travels all across Connecticut to stop at breweries, wineries, and various markets and festivals. Although I had seen the Connecticut truck on the road many times, this was my first time ordering from them. The menu consists of items made from Maine lobsters, such as Maine Lobster Rolls, Connecticut Lobster Rolls, lobster quesadillas, lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, lobster bisque, as well as New England Clam Chowder. After looking over the menu, I decided to order some "Lobster Tots" (tater tots served with warmed Maine lobster, cilantro lime sauce, pico de gallo). They were simply divine and paired well with the beers that I was having at the brewery. I give Cousins Maine Lobster my seal of approval and I hope to see one of their trucks again!

I ordered a lobster roll that was pretty good not a lot of lobster on the roll. I ordered lobster and Tara tots that was okay. Food pricy for such small portions I'm aware that's it's seafood. I was standing outside waiting my turn so the fresh air was great and the trees blowing and talking to people while standing on that horrendous line to try samples. Will not do that again
