We enjoyed the whole meal. Everything was surprisingly good. The service was very good. P.S. The waitress we had was very nice and very honest. I left my credit card at the restaurant. She took the card and immediately turned it in and had it locked up. I noticed the card missing the next day while checking out of the hotel. I rushed back to the restaurant and retrieved the card. I have, over the years, wanted to go and check the place out, but a combination of not being able to find it and not having enough time has always kept me from a visit. During my last visit to Blytheville, a business colleague and I decided to check this infamous establishment out and have a business dinner, beers, and rib-eyes. Mcadoo's is located in central Blytheville, across from the fire station, and it is in a simple metal shack, which can make it hard to find. There are no signs on the building, just the name written on the entrance door. Inside, you find a fully functioning bar with pool tables and plenty of tables to sit at. Mcadoo's has an old-school vibe as the inside is lit up by old-school red lights. Like bars of old, you can smoke inside; keep this in mind if you are a non-smoker or have allergies to smoke. Mcadoo's has a fully stocked bar, but it's mostly known for its rib-eye steaks. Our server came to our table and informed us that they had no apps and that our only options were rib-eye with salad, baked potato, and toast, or rib-eye with toast, as nothing else was available on the menu. The rib-eyes took about twenty minutes to arrive, and they were massive and cooked to perfection. The salad and the baked potato were fresh and okay, but the focus was on the steak. The steaks were juicy and tender, and they were also very affordable. The allure of Mcadoo's is the experience, the full bar and the affordable rib-eyes. It is also a favourite place for locals to hang out. Overall, a good experience and a great rib-eye dinner.

Blytheville has many choices from Barbecue to Steakhouses even a Chinese Buffet. I found this place by accident after finishing off some barbecue at the Blytheville Travel Center. I endeavoured to come back the next day and I did. When I walked in I saw the daily specials posted and it gave me some ideas, however, I was in the mood for some simple food, so I chose an old favourite, Beef Yaki Udon!! I started with the Shrimp Tempura which I thought might have been frozen instead of made from scratch in the restaurant. The Portion size was good and the shrimp themselves weren't that bad. Next up my Beef Yaki Udon came out. The noodles were soft and flavourful and hit the spot. The Steak was cubed beef and flash fried and also pretty good. The meal itself was affordable and budget-friendly. I will come back again to try their sushi, but although I wasn't that impressed with the tempura the Beef Yaki Soba was very good. it is good to see another food choice in Blytheville and suggest you give it a shot if you're ever in the area.
