The place is located in the centrum of Uppsala, just across the street from the Uppsala Central Station. Thus it will serve very well as accommodation if you come by train or by bus. Kind staff, a very nice atmosphere and a fresh interior. The breakfast buffet is included in the hotel price, but if you are a hostel guest (or if you just randomly drop in from the street as I did, in because I wanted to have a little bit of a morning luxury) you can buy the buffet for 79kr. I think it was totally worth every "krona". The buffet was very good; there were a large assortment of muesli and yoghurt, different types of bread, cheese, jam etc. Also boiled eggs and fresh fruits. And what was probably the best part: you could make your own Belgian-style waffles! And of course add some nutella, peanut butter, whipped cream etc. to it. Yum! Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and juice are included. In addition, they also offer gluten free breakfast. It's the swedish way - no discrimination. The atmosphere was cosy and calm. They also have a shelf full of books if you like to read while enjoying your "frukost". Very good breakfast buffet for a reasonable price at a good location!

The café has a relaxed vibe, and even though it was busy, the service was quick and friendly. Prices are a bit high, but worth it for the quality. Recommend if you're looking for a great coffee and pastry spot, convenient to city center. Outdoor seating if you're lucky enough to land a spot. If not, there's a nice park across the way, if you order take away.

The major complaint would be that there is no easy place to throw away your rubbish, nor is there a place that is clearly evident to bust your dishes, which is much needed given that this is a super busy place.. The staff is too busy to bus tables regularly, which backs up the availability of seating . This is the major reason for a one star deduction.. TIP: You can buy beans or ground coffee for home brewing.

The restaurant is on the first floor. I climbed the red carpeted stairs to the right and was instantly greeted by the menu and a waitress. The decor is posh and trendy. The atmosphere has a great city vibe. Even on a Tuesday, the restaurant was quite full. Prices can go from 150-300kr a person, depending how hungry you are. Regardless of what you order, a complementary basket of breads and butter is served. The food took around 20-25 minutes from order-to-table. Judging from the food freshness, quality, taste to the attentive service and cool ambiance, Paul's has really made a strong first impression. I can't wait to go back and try other delicious dishes, because that menu has nothing I wouldn't like to eat.

It's served with root chips which were delicious!
