Everything was amazing the food was out of this world the service was great and the ambiance was wonderful

Amazing food and such special ambience. I tried the Tasting Menu. This is like a micro dish multi course meal. You WILL be full before dessert! The reindeer was very special and tasty. My favorite was the fish. Fish was so delicate and the sauces around it was amazing. The leaves of Brussels sprouts were surprisingly bold in flavor in contrast to the fish and really balanced out with the artichoke purée. Just amazing flavor in every bite and drop of sauce

Domtrappkällaren is a bit more of an exclusive restaurant. Be aware of smaller portions for higher prices. However, for a more exclusive restaurant it is not very expensive. Also, the food simply tastes great. Don't forget to try the reindeer.

Me giving a thumbs up to great service!

Tl;dr at the end. This restaurant truly challenged my concepts about fine dining. I'm not quite sure I've ever met such a varied menu with such exotic options as wild boar, Guinea Fowl, Hake and other delectibles, including King Crab, and I, being a Maryland boy myself, truly truly appreciate the inclusion of crab on the menu. Now I am in no way a fan of veg, but the appetizer had me at first taste. Despite having asparagus (one of my least favorite vegetables) it tasted like the ambrosia from heaven that the Greek Gods snacked on daily. The service was amazing, and the variety of options we were given was great. The waiters offered valuable and highly recommended insight into what fine wines we should drink with our meals. They had no problem with taking the meat we had ordered and cooking it again at our request, us finding it a bit too rare for our tastes. Also one of the waiters had an awesome mustache which alone should be reason enough to come to this place. This may be the first time I've ever truly experienced fine dining, but it most certainly won't be the last. (P.S. Order the Deer. It's the best thing on the menu, be it a bit small.) Ratings: Food: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: Completely ad entirely unique, 9/10 Overall rating: 9.5 WARNING: EXPENSIVE AS HECK. Worth it tho.

I've enjoyed a very delicious reindeer and an exceptional Chai Ice Tea.

If I ever reach one of my goals in life, which is starting my own restaurant business, I will…read moredefinitely do many things the same way as in 60Kvadrat. Such a good experience. The first thing I noticed about 60Kvadrat, was the atmosphere: cool interior design and layout. The location in the heart of Uppsala, but a bit hidden into a small cozy alley, supported my idea of how nice the place would be. This restaurant had to be tested. A few times I had to turn back at the door because I didn't have a reservation. The place seems to be full every evening. Although that does not require much, as the intimate restaurant fits about 30 people. Finally, I realized my own mistake at the third time and booked a table, which was more than worth it. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Sometimes the state of the customer service ruins an otherwise wonderful experience, but here it indeed even improved it. While eating, the young guy came to ask us if everything was ok and if we enjoyed the food. We didn't have to answer anything else but an honest yes. Since food is an important aspect in rating restaurants, I can not forget to discuss that. Shortly, it was delicious. The menu is not too wide, but you can still find yourself from the hard situation of which plate to pick. I ended up taking the Chèvre salad with walnuts and honey. On the other side of the table I could see Al Taglio - a four square-shaped pizza pieces, with delicious fillings. The meals were beautiful. By their look and their taste. The prices are ok (or 'lagom' as they say in Sweden): neither a once-in-a-lifetime thing nor an everyday place to eat. After I came home from the restaurant, I started to think what would I say about it. It was hard to try to find anything negative. The slightly narrow size of the place would maybe be the only one. On the other hand, the atmosphere would not be as cozy and intimate without that. I really felt like 60Kvadrat was a complete positive combination in all areas. Food, service, atmosphere, location; all get the full five stars from me.

The room was small but had enough space for two adults who weren't spending a ton of time there. The included breakfast buffet was genuinely one of the best I've ever seen at a hotel. Huge array of options hot and cold and the pancake/crepes with whipped cream and strawberry jam were a hit! Only reason we didn't rank five stars was the shower. It was cramped and a bit slippery and the shower head was not high up and didn't angle into the shower; it angled straight down and couldn't be adjusted because there isn't a real shower door or curtain, just a pane of glass that swings out and is approximately one third the width of where a shower door should be!

It is a newly constructed building, across from the new train station on a street that now has a string of new office and apartment buildings. The lobby and lobby restaurant area is a large open space flanked by floor to ceiling glass, which makes the space feel open and airy. The guest rooms are very large, almost American in size, but are still very Scandinavian in style - wood laminate floors with minimalist, but functional & comfortable furniture. The beds are very comfortable as well and the bathrooms are very well appointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
