This was a great NY-themed restaurant in the middle of Uppsala, a bit too upscale for my budget, but my colleagues wanted to have dinner here so I didn't have much of a choice.
Their burgers and fries looked delicious and cost around $30 each. I ordered a $13 brownie with vanilla ice cream, which - at first - seems like a small portion. It was surprisingly flavorful and not too sweet. I probably wouldn't pay for another $13 brownie during my stay here, but if you're willing to splurge for good dessert - this is the place to do it.
The waitress was very nice and accommodating to my group. She didn't have any problems splitting the check and distributing individual checks. The only downside was that she didn't check-up on our table that much during the meal, so waiting for a check took longer than expected. Personally, I wasn't bothered by it; in some European countries, it's rude for waiters to rush their patrons. I just wasn't sure if this was part of the Swedish culture or the waitress herself. read more
